Bea's POV

"Bea... Beh..."

Nagising ako dahil may malamig na tubig na tumutulo sa mukha ko.

When I opened my eyes, it's not water. Jhoana is crying! My Jhoana is crying...

"Jho? Why are you crying?"

Agad agad akong umupo and wiped her tears with my thumbs.

"I'm so worried!"

Sigaw nya and niyakap ako ng mahigpit.

"What happened to you? Bakit buhat ka ni Thirdy kanina? Bakit nawalan ka ng malay? Bakit namamaga mata mo?"

Sunod sunod nya tanong, nakayakap pa din sakin.

"I thought you are mad at me."

I asked, laughing.

"Don't laugh Beatriz! There's nothing funny."

She said and humiwalay ng yakap,

"Okay, sorry, one question at a time beh, pls."

I said with a smirk.

"What happened?"

"Where?"

"Sa dinner! Bakit may nangyari pa ba out of dinner?"

Tanong nya, nagkakasalubong na yung mga kilay nya.

"Ofcourse wala! Tita just asked me how am I and we ate, ofcourse."

She nodded and asked again,

"Bakit maga mata mo?"

Tanong nya, while caressing my face.

"Uhm, I want to be honest with you because you-"

"You really need to be honest with me because Bea, I'm your girl and-"

I cut her off and butted in,

"First of all, you are not my girl because you are the love of my life, you are my bestfriend, you are my life. Second, I want to be honest with you because I want you to know that I'm a trust-worthy person and para di ka magduda sakin."

Okay, so that shut her up.

"I cried because uhm, Kianna, when we were on the car, she confessed her feelings to me."

She was about to say something but I put my index finger on her lips.

"Listen to me first, she confessed her feelings, and I cried because I've never saw Kianna cried, except when her father left to work abroad... So yeah, she is my friend and that affected me. And second, the unanswered questions in my mind got their answers na. Third, I found out something that broke my heart."

Pagpapaliwanag ko,

"Narealize mo na ba na mas mahal mo sya?"

Tanong ni Jho out of nowhere,

"Beh, of course not! I'm so sure, hundred percent sure about my feelings for you."

"What are the questions?"

Tanong nya,

"Ahm, kung bakit sya nag-stop na kausapin ako and bakit nya pinutol yung connections namin."

Sagot ko,

"What's her answers?"

Tanong nya, looking at my eyes.

"She said that she likes me, yes, until now, but I know Kianna, she's not the type of girl na desperate. And oh, back to the topic, uhm, she said na natakot sya, kasi baka kung ano pa magawa niya just to be with me noon."
