Two out of three

The next two weeks go as I expected. I begin to tolerate Abby more and we start reconnecting. We start laughing again. Honestly I thought the same would happen with Adam. But he keeps his distance.

"You have that look again." Abby says as she does my roots.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"It's this dazed look you get when you think about Adam." She says. I laugh.

"What? No." I say. She gives me the look that says bullshit. "What?" I ask.

"You should talk to him. He misses you." She says.

"He is literally just out that window, he has a key, and he can come in and talk to me literally whenever he wants." I say.

"It's Adam, plus I'm sure Dan scared him." she says. I raise my eyebrows in understanding.

"I'll think about it." I say, a question pops into my head. "Do you still like him?" I ask with a hint of sadness.

"Not after what happened, bros before hoes." She says. I smile a little and we film a little Q&A while my Hair processes. Abby reads out the questions behind the camera while I answer.

"Are you looking forward to the BMA's?" she asks.

"Yeah I'm super excited, you guys have me nominated for I think three awards and that's super awesome." I say.

"What is your type?" she asks. Abby gives me an evil smile and I playfully glare.

"I don't think have a type. I like surrounding myself with people who make me smile and laugh, if something happens it happens but we all know that doesn't happen." I say.

"Will you marry me?" she asks.

"No, sorry. Next question." I say.

I answer questions for the next fifteen minutes then we wash my hair. Abby styles my hair and we go to the kitchen for snacks. Adam is there getting water.

"Hey." I say and smile. He gives me a small smile and walks back outside to his post.

"You so still like him." Abby says.

"I never said I didn't." I say. She awes. "But it's not happening." I say.

"Why not? You look so good together." She says.

"No we don't." I say.

"Fine. I'm putting it to the test." She says and pulls out her phone. She taps away.

"What are you doing?" I ask worriedly.

I pull out my phone and I see that on my Twitter fan account, the one Abby runs, there is a picture of me and Adam with the question 'Ship it?' on top.

"What the fuck?" I ask.

"Look at the replies. Everyone thinks you look good together."

"So? He is still avoiding me." I say.

"He won't be able to tomorrow." She says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I moved around the schedule. Adam is your escort to the BMA's and I made sure you have the best outfit." She says.

"Abby..." I trail off.

"Thank me tomorrow, I have to pick up everything for tomorrow. I'll send you your schedule. And please get a good night sleep." She says and scurries off." I get an apple and watch TV while I eat it.
