So, currently i'm sitting in my hotel room in Paris! But i thought its late so i might as well start on the chapter, anyways this is only Part of the entire chapter, i just didnt want to fit it all in on one chapter, you''ll honestly get bored! Anywhoo enjoyyyyyyyy :D

I didnt get a very good response for my first chapter, PLEASEEEE dont give up on it, its gradually getting their, just give it time!

My ultimate desire (if that doesnt sound weird) would be to get atleast 1000 readers, thats all i'm asking for! it would make my dreams come true honestlyy!

*Roughly edited, i'll re-edit it when i get back to the UK*

The annual spring county parade/fair whatever it is. Both ways I heard it’s wonderful and fun with splendid rides and games, everyone in town is coming to hear the high school's chorus put on their biggest production. And I'm doing the solo*Great*But it was still a week away so I could dread every moment that led up to it.

"You wanna come?" Sasha asked knocking me out of my gloomy preoccupation.

"Huh? Where?"

My dad is taking me and Katie and my mom out to Lake Shikawacha. It's kind of a tradition. My dad lets me take my friends but it's more like just relaxing and enjoying the nice weather."

Nice weather? Yeah I guess fifty digress and sunny is better than fifty below zero and cloudy. "Ok."

Sasha smiled. "Ok we leave five in the morning Saturday."

Five O'clock in the morning...great. "Alright, see ya" Well some nature might be nice and ever since the bear incident my mother hadn't let me out of the house or anywhere near the woods without her or my father. I still kept my eye out for anyone that looked like the guy who saved me.

The snow was melting away slowly. It was only six inches now, with piles of dirty cold masses pushed all over town. I walked into the store and got a smile from Bob who I had learned was part native and only six years older than me. "Hey, Casey. We got a shipment today but I only got halfway through. Do you think you could finish for me, while I keep watch?"

I nodded, not really caring. It would be better than just standing there as the rush of spring shoppers hit. "Sure." I went into the back. The boxes were piled up higher than my head making me slump. "Great." Usually Bob did this but I guessed he was finally warming up to me or at least knew he could trust me not to mess it up. It took four hours to put everything away but one box which when I opened it I smiled. I ran into the front. "You ordered Cookies-n-cream?"

"You seemed to really like the stuff." He shrugged. "No matter... are you done yet?" He was like that. He didn't like sappy stuff or emotional attachments but he was a good guy. I went home that night with a half gallon of Cookies-n-cream ice cream.

Friday came quickly for me because it was the only thing I had to look forward to. I guess that speaks volumes of how lame my life was. My mother had to come up to my room and lift my mattress to get me up at four in the morning so I could go. "Come on sleepy head! You're the one who said you'd go!"

Yeah well, in that moment I regretted it but I went anyway driving a small Subaru my dad bought me right after February was over and the bulk of the winter storms ended. Sasha and Katie were outside in the freezing weather waiting while our parents packed up a pickup truck with stuff for the trip.

"Hey! I wasn't sure if you could wake up this early." Katie said jokingly while I scratched my head. Not even the bitter cold was breaking through the haze of sleep.
