Chapter 4

Jake (pov)

I woke up with the feel of Amelia's lips still on mine. There was something about her I couldn't shake. Whether or not it was her hair, her eyes, or her touch I didn't care. I just knew I needed her.

I drove to the studio today because I couldn't wait to see Amelia. Once I pranced in, there she was, her crazy red hair thrown all around and her body snuggled in a huge sweatshirt.

"You know you live in LA,right?" I joked, pouring myself a cup of coffee. She chuckled, looking up from her camera. "Yes, but it's fucking cold in here!"

She smiled. Her smile was really cute. Her hips jutted out as she stood in front of me, my mouth watering. "So, are we going to talk about how last night ended?" She asked, getting lost in her camera screen once more.

I stood and wrapped my hands around her waist. Our eyes interlocked for a while before I leaned in to grab her mouth. A moan seeped from her throat, following her hands to be wrapped behind my neck.

Once the kiss was over, she smiled confidently, keeping my eyes locked with hers. "So, are we like, a thing?" She asked, biting her lip. "We're whatever you want us to be," I replied.

"Ok," she said smirking. "Out of curiosity, does this mean I'm the one and the only Jake Miller's girlfriend?" I beamed. "What else would it mean?" I responded, before fleeing into the studio.

3 Hours Later

I sat in the studio three hours after my kiss with Amelia, getting lost in the music. She stood outside the recording booth, talking to someone. She still had that camera around her neck.

Once Joey and I called a break, he restringed his guitar and we got coffee. "I gotta go, it's Sammy's birthday," he said, saluting me. He nodded towards Amelia and whispered, "Keep her, she seems to enjoy your kiss."

I punched him in the arm but he started laughing instead if crying. Samantha, "Sammy", is Joey's girlfriend, and they really live each other. Sammy's super nice, and ever since I broke up with Madison, the two have been trying to set me up.

Suddenly, I looked up, and my mom and Jenny were talking ro Amelia. Uh- oh.

Amelia (pov)

As Jake and Joey goofed off in the recording booth, two women walking in. I knew one was Jenny, Jake's sister, and the other woman was his mom. They stood in front of the studio next to me, chatting away.

Suddenly, Todd walked by quickly and shouted, "Meet Amelia!" I instantly looked up and turned bright once Jake's mom and Jenny looked at me.

"OMG YOU'RE JAKE'S GIRLFRIEND!" Jenny yelled. Her mom beamed. "Well, Amelia, it's nice to meet you. This is Jenny, my crazy daughter."

I grinned and held out my hand, but Jenny threw her arms around me."I'm so happy! You got Jake to smile again!" I grinned slyly because I was a little freaked out by her excitment. "I can't wait to tell Jake you came just to watch his photoshoot!" His mom exclaimed.

"W-with all do respect, Mrs. Miller, I'm not here to watch his photoshoot," I said. "I'm here to make it happen." I held up my camera for them to see. Although, they should have already seen it...

"Oh, okay!" His mom exclaimed. "By the way, you can call me Leah!" I turned and replied, "Okay!" before sprinting to the set, my curly red hair flopping around behind me.

This was going to be a FUN photoshoot. By look on Jake's face when be stepped in front of the camera, I could tell that he was thinking the exact same thing.
