Chapter 6

It's later in the night.

Ivan and I are cuddling on the couch.
We're all watching a movie called 'The Blind Side' while Ivan plays with my hair and I start to fall asleep.

"We should go before we're late, Ivan." Emilio says.

"Ugh I totally forgot. She just fell asleep. Five more minutes?" Ivan begs.

"Fine! Cinco momentos." Emilio gives in.

I could feel Ivan smile. I wrap my arms tighter around him.

~time passes~

"Ivan it's been a half hour. Time to leave." Emilio calls out from the door.

"Where are you guys even going?" Alissa asks.

"Shopping for someone." Ivan says.

"Is it Sam?" Tessa says excitedly.

"Yeah." Jake chimes in.

"Shhh." Ivan says.

"Say goodbye to you girlfriend, Ivan." Emilio jokes.

"Fineee." Ivan groans.

He nudges me.

"Sam, babe. Emilio and I are going shopping for a bit. I'll see you soon." Ivan smiles to me.

"No don't go." I hug him tighter.

"Lo siento tengo que hacerlo. Emilio es cada vez de mal humor. I'm sorry I have to. Emilio is getting cranky." Ivan says. His English is getting way better now.

"Muy bien te amo. Ugh fine I love you." I say it in Spanish so no one finds out. Except maybe Emilio but he's out the door already.

"También te amo niña. I love you too baby girl." Ivan says. I can see he wants to kiss me badly.

He rolls us onto the ground. Everyone laughs hysterically.

He gives me a quick peck so no one could see and gets up. He helps me back up onto my feet.

"Adios!" The twins call out before shutting the door.

I flop back onto the couch.

"I'll make some popcorn." Alissa gets up.

"I'm coming." Jake stands as well and they walk into the kitchen.

"Sam! Is that a hickey?" Tessa whispers loud enough so I can here.

I start to panic.

I quickly run to the bathroom and look into the mirror.
Tessa's right.
Damn it Ivan.

"Be right back!" I shout as I run upstairs.

I can hear Tessa laughing hard.

I sprint into my bathroom almost falling over, I chuck on foundation onto the hickey. I examine the rest of my body.
"Damn you, sexy Ivan Martinez." I laugh.

I look at my ass and roll my eyes.

"Sam everything okay?" Alissa calls from downstairs.

"Yeah I'll be down in a second." I shout back.

I grab my phone and FaceTime Ivan.

It keeps ringing. No answer. Whatever.

I head down the stairs and back onto the couch.

"So Sam, how was the situation?" Tessa laughs.

"What? What happened?" Jake asks.

"Sam has a hickey!" Tessa announces to the world.

"Ooooo so you guys had sex?!" Alissa asks.

"What no!" I defend.

"Oh I get it. A little bit of licking!" Jake smirks.

"No gross, Jake! It's our second day dating. Jesus." I sigh.

"So just a make out?" Tessa asks.

I nod.

They all shriek.

"I'm going to bed." I get up and walk up the stairs.

"It's 9pm." Jake says.

"Don't care!" I holler back before closing my door.

I take a shower and look at all the marks Ivan left. Then I look more closely. Their in a shape of a heart. That's so sweet I almost cried.

I throw on gray booty shorts and a white tank crop top.

I fall into my cozy bed and scroll through twitter.

"Conseguirle algo especial😊😘 getting her something special." Ivan tweets.

What could he be getting?

I ponder about that for 3 hours. Everyone already went to sleep so I decided to as well.

I shut off my light and crawled into bed.

Ivan's Pov

"¿Crees que le va a gustar? Do you think she will like it?" I ask Emilio while walking back to the car.

"por supuesto. Ella lo amará. Of course. She will love it." Emilio says whole getting in the passenger side.

"Bien. Good." I sigh.

We get back to the Team 10 house and it's pitch black.

"Should I give it to her now?" I ask Emilio.

"Sì." He says.

I nod and smile then jog up the stairs into Sam's room.

I knock on the door softly.

"Baby girl? You awake?" I ask while opening the door.

She's laying in bed sleeping.

I couldn't help but take a few pictures.

I finally go over to her and wake her.

"What is it baby?" She sounds exhausted.

My POV

Ivan wakes me up from my dream.

"What is it baby?" I'm exhausted.

"I've got you a gift!" He sounds excited.

"Babe you didn't have to get me anything." I say sitting up.

"No please. Open it." He smiles.

He hands me a little bag. I look inside and there's this long black velvet box. I open the box up and see a beautiful sliver chain necklace with a heart on it.

"Ivan... I love it." I start to tear up.

I hug him fast.

"Look on the heart." Ivan says.

I turn it over and it has something engraved in it.

A tear falls from my eyes.

"Why my birthday?" I ask.

"Because that's the day I fell in love with you and everything about you." Ivan smiled his white beautiful teeth at me.

I hug him again.

"Thank you. I love it so much. I love you so much." I tell him.

"I love you too. Now let's put the beautiful necklace on the beautiful girl."
