Chapter 7

I wake up to Jake doing his intro to the vlog.

"Hey what's up..."

Then I hear

"OHIOOO."

It's never quiet in this house.

Ivan slept in my bed last night while we cuddled.

I try waking him up.

"Baby, time to rise and shine." I kiss his forehead.

"Noooo." He groans and pulls my in closer.

I decide to not fight it and give in.

We lay in bed for a another half hour until Jake comes bursting through the doors yelling

"OHIOOO!"

And walks out.

Ivan and I roll our eyes. I didn't even notice he was on top of me.

"Good morning, beautiful." He says kissing my lips.

"Good morning, baby." I kiss back.

He climbs off of me and heads to his room I guess to shower.

I decide to do the same.

I throw on those jeans that you cuff at the bottom, a black crop top and white high top converse. I put the top of my hair into a bun and straighten the rest. Of course I put my necklace back on after my shower.

I walk downstairs and hear Jake and Tessa vlogging as usual.

"Here she is!" Emilio says and comes over to hug me. I hug him back.

"Sam... can I talk to you for a second?" Tessa asks.

"Yeah sure!" I say.

Tessa leads me upstairs , into Jakes room and onto the roof.

"What's up?" I ask Tessa.

"Are you okay?" She looks at me dead in the eyes.

"What do you mean?" I start to fidget with my rings.

"Like I don't wanna sound mean by saying this. But like mentally and physically? Your very skinny, which is good!, but too skinny. Are you doing anything I should know about?" Tessa steps closer to me.

I look at her and sit down on the edge of the Team 10 house.

"Yeah everything is perfect." I look out into the city.

Tessa takes a seat next to me.

"Are you sure? Is there anything? I'm always here. We're like sisters basically. We're always together. You seem down and upset. We all know Ivan and you are dating. Is he hurting you?" Her tone changes from caring to defensive.

"No! Ivan and I are perfect. He's perfect. We're perfect. It's just that... I don't know." I sigh.

We hear footsteps come up onto the roof. Tessa looks at the figure. It's Chance.

"Hey guys what's up?" Chance asks.

"Nothing. Can you leave Chance. I'm sorry but I need to talk to Sam." Tessa asks politely.

"Yeah of course. Sam you okay? Ok always here for you." Chance puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Thanks, Chance." I say.

"No problem." He says and walks back into the house.

"Oh one more thing. We're all heading out to see that new movie, The Ring, you two joining?" Chance pops his head back up.

"I don't know. I'll probably stay in and relax." I say.

"I'll go." Tessa smiles.

Chance winks and walks out again.

"Now back to you, I know everything about you. Except this part. What's going on?" Tessa looks at me again, more serious and caring this time.

"You wouldn't get it. No one would." I look at the pool filled with Fruit Loops.

"What do you mean? There's something bigger behind this. You always want to be alone and distant. What's going on, Samantha?" She puts her hand on my knee.

"I just can't." I get up fast and rush back inside the house.

"Sam! Wait!" Tessa yells after me.

My eyes start to water and I rush into my room. I lock the door and sit against it sobbing.

I hear people whispering and asking what happened downstairs and Tessa explaining. I didn't want it to be a big deal. Why can't everything disappear?
