Chapter 9

Everyone's arrived back home, but it's still silent until people knocking at my door. I give up. They won't leave me alone to die.

I vastly get up and sling the door wide open. Jake, Ivan and Tessa are standing there.

Ivan doesn't say anything but hug me, hug me and kiss me.

"I love you I love you I love you I love you." He repeats.

"We will give you two some time." Tessa says grabbing Jakes arm and walking downstairs.

Ivan doesn't let go. And frankly, I don't want him to.

"What happened?" Ivan asks.

"I- I need some time." I say.

"I understand." Ivan says.

He holds me tight and kisses my forehead.

*following sentences in Spanish, translated to English*

"Are you okay? I'll do anything. Name it." Ivan sits me down on the bed.

"I'm okay. I just needed time away from everyone. That's how I am sometimes. You out of all people should know this." I say "things are just messed up in my head is all."

"Okay. I understand. I love you, you know that right?" He takes my hands and kisses one of them.

I fiddle with my necklace.

"Yes. I love you too." I kiss his lips, he kisses back.

Ivan and I eventually fell asleep in the others arms. But I soon woke up to a loud scream. I bolt up and run to the balcony to see what happened.

I see Tessa, Erika, Alissa, Jake, Emilio, Nick, Anthony, Chance, Kade, and Ivan followed behind me.

"I can't believe this!" I hear Alissa scream.

"It's your fucking fault!" Jake yells back.

"Sam thank god." I hear Tessa and Erika say.

They rush upstairs to me.

"What's going on?" I ask rubbing my eyes.

"Jake found out Alissa was cheating on him. He's trying to kick her out but she refuses." Tees and Erica hug me.

I'm in disbelief. How could she.

I walk down the stairs to join the argument.

They are down each other's necks. I have to stop this.

"Guys! Calm down!" I say. They aren't listening.

"GUYS!" I yell louder.

"Shut the fuck up, Sam! Your a fucking slut white whore ass mother fucking c*nt!" Alissa yells at me.

All the guys yell "hey" at her.

I feel my eyes start to tear up.

"HEY! Don't EVER talk to her like that again or I swear to god.." Ivan manages our before she interrupts him.

"What the fuck are you going to do? I'll have your asses deported back to Mexico." Alissa snaps at the three of us.

"We're from Spain!" Emilio yells.

"I don't care. Fuck off Martinez!" Sam go fucking kill yourself. Your worthless. No body likes you! You're all alone! You're a whore!" Alissa finally says what's she's always wanted to say to me.

I stand there frozen in place, unable to move. All that I can manage are tears down my face.

"That's it. You can come in here and cheat on me! But do NOT tell Samantha to kill herself." Jake yells at Alissa.

I see Chance getting furious.

Ivan is fuming.

"GET THE FUCK OUT YOU FUCKING WHITE PRIVILEGED SLUT!" Ivan scream. The room goes silent.

"Fine! But I'm coming back for my things" Alissa says moving everyone out of her way, stopping at me "actually do us all a huge favor and kill yourself."

"GET OUT YOU WHITE TRASH TRAILER PARK BITCH!" Ivan's face is red like a tomato. I have tears down my face but I stand completely still and blank.

When she finally leaves Jake breaks down into tears, I sob and Ivan, Erika, Tessa and Emilio come over and hug me. Chance, Anthony, Nick and Kade go over to Jake.

"Tal vez tiene razón. Yo debería suicidarme." Maybe she's right. I should kill myself." I say with a blank stare.
