"See them?" I ask again.

"Your lipstick?" Tessa asks.

I hand her my lipstick and she climbs onto my bathroom counter with me and starts writing on my mirror as I watch.

'You're beautiful'
'You're perfect'

And so on.

She finally stops and stares at me.

"I've seen them." Tessa sits down.

"What exactly?" I ask.

"Your cuts. Ivan asked me about them. I said we went into the woods and you fell."

My heart freezes.

I stay silent and stare at them.

"It's okay. Just tell me why," Tessa says.

"The thing is, I don't know why." I look up at her.

"I understand." She pulls out her wrists.

"Been there in your shoes." She smiled.

I hug her tight.

After dance class with Tessa, we decide to head out for a walk.

"So... how's you and Ivan?" She smirks.

"Jesus help me now." I praise up to the sky.

Tessa laughs and asks a more receding question.

"How's the you know... the bed life?" She smirks again.

"My sex life???" I look at her like a fool.

"Yeah spill it girl!" She lightly hits my shoulder.

"Okay okay! Everything is like nothing. We like only make out. Keep in mind we're only 17, Tessa." I tell her.

"Blah blah blah!" Tessa laughs and I join in.

My phone buzzes in my pocket.

"Hey babe, were doing this huge Jenga thing, wanna play?" Ivan asks.

"Yeah sure. We will be home in a few. Need anything?" I ask.

"Just your hot sexy body underneath mine." He says seductively.

Thank god it wasn't on speaker.

"I'll be home soon." I tell him.

We say our goodbye and Tessa and I go back to the house.

Everything is set up for Jenga.

We are a few turns in and Anthony decides to make a sketchy move.

Keep this in mind, I'm directly under the tower cause I'm a stupid ass bitch.

I started talking to Emilio and not paying attention. I hear the boys cheering so I thought nothing bad, until well, this happened.

I heard yelling and running but something hit my head, hard, and my entire body.

"SAM!" I heard Ivan yell.

I couldn't breathe.

I heard everyone rushing over to my side and throwing the pieces off of me.

I heard Emilio groaning from pain but I couldn't move.

I got the wind knocked out of me, I couldn't breathe. I was wheezing and crying. It hurt so bad.

"Check her pupils." Jake says.

Ivan looks into my eyes.

"No bueno!" Ivan starts panicking.

He picks me up and carries me to the couch, Tristan grabs Emilio.

"Can you move?" Erika asks.

"No." I managed to get out.

"Jake we have to call an ambulance." Chance says.

"Yeah yeah. Nick call." Jake starts giving orders.

My breath hitches and I started breathing really fast. Ivan holds my hand.

"Baby girl it's okay. I'm here!" Ivan says.
"Someone please help her!" Ivan cries out.

They put ice on Emilio and he's fine. But I'm in a awful state. The Jenga blocks fell on my head, back, and ankle.

"Sam I'm so sorry! I didn't intend this to happen." Jake keeps on apologizing until the ambulance gets there.

This is so bad. I've ruined everything.

They carry me into the ambulance, only two can come along, Jake and Ivan.

We get to the hospital quickly and they rush me into a room.

Ivan is crying so much and so is Jake. This is terrible.

After an hour or so of examinations, the doctor finally tell me what's wrong.

"I'm sorry to say, you have a severe concussion, a broken right ankle and a bruised back bone." The doctor says.

"Great." I sigh.

"We have to undergo surgery for your ankle. Your back will heal over a course of 3 days or so, and we have to monitor your brain in case of any brain damage." Said the doctor.

Hearing myself that I may have brain damage is heart braking. I start to cry.

"Can Ivan come?" I ask.

"Yes, but in a hour we will go into surgery." The doctor smiles. He wants out of the room and in comes Ivan crying.

"Baby I'm so glad your okay!" He rushes over to my side and hugs me and kisses me. 

"I'm not okay! I might have brain damage, I have a broken right ankle and a bruised back!" I can't do anything but cry. Ivan holds me tightly. Tight enough to know that I'm safe.

"I love you so much." Ivan kisses me.

" I love you too, baby." I kiss Ivan back.
