[December 31st]

It has been more than three months since our marriage ended. I didn't see nor heard of you since we met the other day at the park. I wonder how you're doing?

I still think about you from time to time. I see a lot of things that reminded me of you, of us. I can't let go of you yet.

But I try.

I saw 'her' today. I thought you two would be together.
She was with your friend. We talked. She was really nice.

•••

Should I give her this or that? You asked yourself, looking through clothes. It will be your sister's birthday in two days and you're looking for a present. You didn't know what to offer her.

You have gone to four different stores already, but you didn't find anything. If you could, you would've give her an island so she could bathe in the sun. She always complains when it's near December, because of the cold weather.

You go to another store. It wasn't just clothes based. This one had varieties. Clothing items, things for the kitchen, bathrooms...

These cookie cutters are adorable! I'll take this for now, you thought to yourself, grabbing for the cutters.

"Oh, sorry!" you and another woman said at the same time.

You look up and see a familiar face. 'Her'. You froze in place. You haven't forgotten that face. The face of the woman that brought your relationship to an end. All the events from that day flood back in your head.

She broke the silence first. "By the look on your face, it seems like you remember me..."

You snapped from your thoughts and looked at her. You didn't want to have anything to do with this woman, so you walk pass her, leaving the cookie cutters.

"Running away, huh?" She added, making you stop and turn around.

"What do you want?! You've already have him, what else do you want?!" You said angrily.

"I want nothing," she said, turning to face you. "Just... I'm not the type of woman who do marry men like you think. I don't want to get on your bad side, okay?"

"Kira, are you done over there?" A man said, walking his way towards her. "What's with that face?"

She fixes her face into a non-bitchy one and link her arms in his. "N-nothing. Let's go!"

So they're not together? She found someone new?

"Wh- but I saw you were talk— huh? Y/N?!" He said in surprise when he met your eyes.

"Hoseok?!" You cried. You didn't recognize him, because he was wearing a beanie and a scarf, which was covering his mouth and the end of his nose.

"Let's go, it's time for us to go!" the girl named Kira said in a rush.

"Wait, we're not in a hurry. And Y/N, I'm sorry for you and Yoongi..." he said.

You shake your head and gave him a small smile. "It's in the past now, but..." you take a glance at her, "your girlfriend?"

"Fiancée," he said with a huge smile.

WHAT?! Oh my god, she even has a ring on her ring finger. What the hell?! Should I tell him?

"Why are you so shock?" He added.

"N-no... sorry. Congratulations!" You said.

"Why don't we catch up? I haven't seen you for quite a while," he suggested.

You hesitated, looking at the woman next to him.

"It's fine with me," Kira said, giving you a strained smile.

The three of you went to the mall's dining court. You find a table and sat with Kira while Hoseok waited in line to buy hot chocolate.

"It's not what it looks like!" Kira said, taking you by surprise.

"Then what is it? About three months ago, I see you with Yoongi and now you've found someone new? Then what, you'll leave him and go jump on someone else?" You said with anger.

It wasn't right for you to be saying this to someone you've just met, but what she did frustrated you. You didn't want her to repeat what she did on someone else, especially not Hoseok.

You've met Hoseok when you started dating Yoongi, he was a really cheerful person, always smiling. You knew that if he found out about something as cruel as that, he would be hurt and broken, just like you were.

"I'm baaack!" Hoseok said with hot chocolate cups in his hands.

"Thanks," you said.

"What were you girls talking about?" He asked.

You and Kira shake your head which made him lift his eyebrows.

"Okay... Really, Y/N. I'm sorry about you and him... I really wished you two the best, I swear. Who would've thought he'll turn out to be like this," he said apologetically.

"Thanks for the sentiment, Hoseok," you said a bit sadly. "Things happen... But how is he?"

He lifted his eyebrows in shock and looked at Kira in confusion. "What do you mean 'how is he'? Haven't you seen or talk to him yet?"

"No? The last time we talked, it was more than two months ago... That was the last time I saw him," you confessed.

He furrowed his brows. "What?! How can you survive that much time being apart? Isn't he your husband?"

"No? We divorced, because he cheated on me," you said, taking a quick glance at the fiancée.

"WHAT?! DIVORCED?!?" He yelled, making everyone turn their heads at your table.

"Yeah?? Wh- wait. For what reason did you think we weren't together?"

"Okay! Let's not talk about this here, we should get going," Kira said, getting up from her chair. "Let's go babe and nice to meet you, Y/N!"

"NO! I don't understand here! And why are you in a hurry? But let's talk somewhere else," he said, getting up himself. "Come on Y/N, we need to talk about this."

You got up too, following the couple from behind.

What's going on?! For what reason did he think we divorced then? And why is Kira so tense? Is she planning to keep this a secret forever and move on with Hoseok?
