Fresh start fresh school

I get ready for the first day of high school and yes I will be older than everyone in year 10 but who really cares. Well, I don't so that's all that matters. I hug Anne goodbye and go to catch the bus. I reach into my right pocket to grab my phone and I put on wicked by future on Spotify and I am on my way I see my friends on the bus (I met them on orientation day)

So I tap on the bus and walk to the back where Bec is waiting to ask something "hey mate where have you been all summer?" " mono" I answer sighing as I go to sit down. I actually was celebrating my brother's anniversary, but that was at the start, about halfway through the summer I went to the skate park and met this girl Ari (Ariana) she was amazing because of her I am now a bad boy and that's, not a bad thing I have had a really bad life so I have to have freedom, well in my words and all my friends accept it, that's why we're such good friends because we all accept each other for who we are. we arrive at school and go straight to homeroom and after that, we have a free period so we go to our spot, at school. When I finally got to our friends we claimed a spot in the yard that we go to for lunch and stuff, by the way, our spot is under a massive tree it's so cool anyway so we sit there and then, of course, the question pops up "he, did you meet a girl??" Alex asks teasingly "nooo, I," I Say really guilty "dangit, you got me, ok yes I did meet a girl!" I sigh I was like love sick couldn't stop thinking about her "tell us all about it!" bec says. I don't want to really talk about it because I really miss Ariana, I haven't seen her for like weeks she is one who you can't stop thinking about; "ok, her name is Ariana and she is a skater!" "Where and when?" I didn't know if I should spill about Ariana just thinking about her makes me miss her even more but maybe I should because it might make me feel better I thought "hello? You still with us?" Bec asks "now spill" Chris now getting frustrated yells "fine, I met her at the skatepark over summer and she has beautiful shiny red hair and she makes her own skateboards" I say trying to act like I won't die if I don't speed to her soon "good choice dude" Chris winks, Bec gives him a dirty look like he just said he will put her whole family in prison "what's up with you" like am I missing out on something or what "more like both of them" Luke just is able to be English he is laughing that hard "well we are kinda" my mouth drops before he can even finish his sentence. The first bell rings so I go to my locker and get my books and put my phone away, I get to my class as soon as the second bell goes. I have science, humanities and music, the bell goes for home time so we all rush our classes, we all went to the basketball court and watched luke at his training " hey do you guys wanna come to selata beach" I suggest, selata beach is out the front of selata mall which is the biggest mall in the US, the beach has its own fish and chip shop and everything. "yeah sure I will go" bec says while texting her personal trainer, once everyone agrees, the training ends then we all go home to grab our stuff. I text in our group chat called "ayyyyyy". "hey guys I am going to catch the bus from the end or warratul street, I might be about 10 minutes", so as I get on the bus I get a text from Ariana "hey hottie would you be able to come to selata beach?" "Me and my friends are going there already you can hang around with us" I reply as fast as I could "bro? that's so weird and ok sure". As I arrive at the beach I see Alex, bec, Luke and Chris at the fish and chips shop "hey brah" Chris yells putting his arm around my shoulder, we go and lay our towels on the steaming hot golden sand. Me Chris and Luke take off our shirts to reveal a chiselled stomach and abs, the girls take off their dresses that are over their bikinis. Bec gets out her pink waterproof speaker and puts on a playlist Spotify playlist "the sea, the sand and the vibes" and we sun bake for 20 minutes. We get up and all at the same time we yell fish and chips and I get my wallet and we all run, as we line up we look at the menu "brah!, look it's only $5 for large chips" Bec exclaims. We order the chips but science they don't sell chips I had to run over to Starbucks across the road and as I am in the to my surprise I see Ariana "hey beautiful" I tease, she turns around and sees me than a smile forms on her rosy cheeks, "hey hottie" she teases back, we both get our drinks and walk back to the beach. Once we both got back to our setup I introduce Ari to the rest and we all eat the chips and finish our ice called frappés within minutes. We let our food settle in our stomachs and then grab our skateboards and head over to the park and skate for around 30mins and came back and me and Ariana already have our surfboards here but the others don't  have their boards so they go to the boards shop to rent a board but that takes forever. It was hitting sunset my and ari were left on the almost deserted beach staring at the yellow melting into orange sky, "hey, Charlie" Ariana breaks the silence, "yeah?" I don't know what she is going to say "i-I like you, as in I like you a lot" Ariana exhales so heavy like she was holding her breath. Her red hair shining like hot red sand in the sun light, slowly our eyes meet her brown eyes meet mine, next thing I know it our lips are locked, it is like a dream I was can't believe I am kissing the most beautiful girl I have ever met... I was in love. Our lips unlock and our hands are twined, the others come back so we all get our boards and surf, we get back from surfing and we all dry off and we all parted in he end to go home but in reality we will just text each other as soon as we get home. I catch my bus and arrive home I make a coffee and go into the theater room and watch the NBA it was worriers against Celtics I go for worriers they won by 19!. I sill can't believe I kissed Ariana. It was 11:45pm I need to get at least some sleep I thought to myself so I turn the television off and put my coffee cup on the sink I go up to my room take my shirt off and put my pants on brush my teeth and slowly close my eyes not even slightly forgetting any details of what happened.
