I get up to Ari playing Coldplay and the sound of the coffee machine so I force myself to get up. I slide into my Adidas sweats and head out to Ari, I creep up behind her and put my arms around her she turns around and hugs me " good morning hottie" she says "good morning babe" I yawn and kiss her head. She hands me the coffee I heard her making earlier "thank you lovely" I say taking the cup, having a sip then placing it on the bench while I get the raisin toast out of the freezer and put four pieces in the toaster. Ari gets a text message, I start to butter my toast, "who's that" I ask " Oh, Um, Bec about Luke" she says trying to type " Luke asked her out to the hard rock cafe on Cavil Ave" she says getting more louder and excited with each word. I hand Ari some money "go get something for you and Bec to wear for tonight" I tell Ari making her smile even bigger. I text Luke saying meet me at urban man at Cavil Ave. "what's up" Luke says looking at me with a weird expression, " I am taking Ari to the hard rock cafe as well" I say as I hand him an earpiece "um explain please" "so you know what to say, remember what has happened in the past" I say raising my eyebrows. He nods his head in agreement "true, ok but let me be myself "he says firmly "ok, ok" I say putting my hands in the air. "ok so clothes" Luke says smiling, we start heading over to osmosis to get 'dressy' clothes. I got a Stussy jacket, Adidas SB shirt, and Calvin Klein jeans. Luke got a white Adidas shirt to go with his black Adidas jacket back at the apartments, and his Calin Klein jeans. we call Ari and Bec and they tell us what they got. Ari got this golden state warriors men's shirt to go with these baggy ripped jeans back at the apartments. Bec got this black Ivy Park bodysuit to go with her black jeans and black Adidas jacket. Me and Luke head back to the apartments while the girls stay there for a while doing who knows what, Me and Luke go over to his apartment and throw our selves onto the sofa and then just talked about random stuff. Ari called me "hey babe whats up" I start the conversation "B-B-Bec... just come here now! we are outside in front of the surfers' paradise sign!" Ari says in a scared voice I haven't heard in so long and I hoped it would stay that way. I tell Luke to put his shoes on as quick as possible "why?" he asks looking at me like I am crazy "just hurry up!... it's about Bec" I say quickly and sternly. "ok ok" he says hands in the air, We get down to the grounded floor and before the elevator could even open properly we were already running halfway down the street. We get there to see Ari along with Alex around Bec who was on the floor unconscious, "Oh..." said Luke. I think he was that shocked that that was the only word he could say and pronounce. He starts running, his pace getting faster and once he gets closer he drops to his knees, "why was I not there, this is all my fault!" Luke sobs in pain and doubt "bro it's not your..." I try to say but he cuts me off "yes it is! if I was there I could have stopped this from happening" he says tears running down his face. I bend down on one knee and a hand on his back "we don't even know what happened yet" I nod to Ari as in you can talk now "so we went to have a corn chips and guacamole that an advertisement person with testers gave us, he handed Ari one and I grabbed one from the back. I hadn't even had a bite yet and Bec had some and then she said she felt nauseous and dizzy but we kept on walking and then she just collapsed and then that brings us to now" Ari explains quickly. All of a sudden Bec starts shaking as if jolts of electricity were going through her body. Alex call the emergency services and they come within 5-10 minutes, and they came out with the stretcher and I hop in the ambulance with Ari to keep her calm And I tell Luke what hospital we were heading to so he and Alex caught a cab to the hospital. Ari explains to the poppy (the emergency person) what happened, poppy looked at the person in the front and then back at us "we think she might have had a type of drug overdose" me and Ari look at each other "she doesn't do drugs at all and never has" I say to poppy "well that person handed her that guacamole and gladly you Ari didn't have any because I am pretty sure it might have been drugged" poppy explains to us. Ari looks at Bec and holds her hand, I felt my heart being tugged, it reminded me of... yeah. We get to the hospital and Ari explains it in detail to the doctors and then the nurse said she will text Ari, Luke, or I the information once it has been handled. I thank the kind nurse and then go wait outside not looking into the emergency room because I will cry. I find myself wiping away a tear that was rolling down my face, I feel an arm on my shoulders and then I smell Aris' perfume and then I turn around and hug her "why does it always have to be my friends" I say through a sob, Ari rubbing my back "babe sometimes this happens to people so that they can just get the pain and bad energy out of their lives for now" I look up at her "is my girlfriend now related to Shakespeare" I tease "wow great way to ruin a serious moment" she laughs and shakes her head as she walks off to go get the others "love you babe" she yells "love you too" I yell back through a smile. Once we were all together again we called a cab and hopped in it and were off back home. Me, Ari and Alex were in the back and Luke was in the front, I looked into the front to see Luke was praying I could only imagine his pain. I showed Ari and she held her hand to her heart and we knew her he was Praying for... Bec.
