Chapter 4 - Heartless Men

Theia's POV

Madilim dilim na rin nang umuwi ako. Mukhang wala pa si Estevan.

'Of course Theia, he's with Freyna. Duh.' saad ng utak ko.

Napailing na lamang ako. What am I even expecting? I scoffed but tears were streaming down on my face. Putangina naman. I'm still winning Estevan tapos eeksena siya? That bitch. She's really testing me. If she wants a hella show, I'll give it to her in a grand way. More than she'll ever expect. 

Freyna Sanchez. You motherfucking bitch. 

I won't let her fool Estevan again! Ako muna ang makakaharap niya bago mangyari ulit yun. She's nothing but a gold-digger slut. First I need to call someone..

I need to call dad...

I started tapping dad's number on my phone to call him and tell what's going on. After a few ring, dad finally answered my call, yes! Baka  di siya busy. I'm 

"Dad, Estevan and—" I failed to finish my sentence when a stoic voice from dad cut me off. Parang hinigop nun ang lahat nang boses na inipon ko bago siya tawagan. 

"Don't call me dad, Theia." I swallowed hard. I felt tears clouding on the corner of my eyes. Ang sakit marinig yun mula sa kanya. He's always been like this. He's always scary and emotionless.

"S-Sir Cordoval. Freyna's back.." I tried my best to sound formal and strong while my sight is covered with tears. Wag kang humikbi Theia. Por favor. Don't. You're still talking to your father. 

"So? Why should I care about it Theia? I already helped you marry him. Problema mo na yun." He scoffed and cut off the line. Di man lang umabot ng half-minute yung duration ng call. He should've at least gave me a chance to ask about his welfare. Kahit naman wala ako sa mansyon, I still have ears from the servants.
