It was a cold morning, Jack noted to himself, as he walked on his way to school, his umbrella almost covering his tiny frame. The rain poured hard on the big black umbrella, causing Jack to nearly fall from underneath it. This weather had started in the last week, a normal weather for December, but not for LA. Jack sighed; tomorrow night - this Saturday actually -, it's new years eve, but he couldn't care less. All he wanted to do is just finish school today, and then go and enjoy his lonely weekend by reading and specifically sleeping all the time.

Jack was hoping to at least see one of his friends, but his hopes were too high. When he got in the school, after struggling with the giant umbrella and trying to fold it so it could get in his locker, he searched for Felix, or Dan and Phil (he really couldn't think of anyone else at this moment), but couldn't find anyone, not even Cry, and that's when he got suspicious. They couldn't just disappear all of a sudden, especially Felix, not before new year's. He just loves annoying Jack with those stupid "I'll see you next year" jokes.

This year is just weird.

At the last period, Jack's leg bounced up and down quickly as he watched the clock ticking slowly. Suddenly, the school's principal, alse known as Dan's mother, got in the class. The pretty noisy class got quite as the principal went to the front of the room and cleared her throat. "Sean McLaughlin, Mark Fischbach, please stay here after this class ends." And that's all she said before going out of the classroom. Jack looked at Mark, who was at the other end of the room, and raised his eyebrow, copying Mark's motion of confusion.

Why did they need to stay after school? Did something happened? Maybe it was about their friends' disappearance, as Mark noticed he didn't see any of them today at all. But anyway, they didn't want anything more than just figure out what the principal wanted and then go back home; Jack to his wonderful loneliness and Mark to his loving family. Five more minutes before school ends and then they can finish it up and crush at home to do whatever they want, maybe even talk to their friend at Kik. They just wanted to go home.

As the bell rang, all of the students got out of the class quickly, the teacher following. When the class finally was empty from people but Jack and Mark, Jack huffed in annoyance. He didn't want to spend too much time with this man, he even prefered his own lonely house. When Mark looked at Jack after hearing the weird sound that came out of his mouth, he was met with eyes full of anger, hate, and frustration. Just then, he remembered why he hated Jack so much, and thought about how stupid he was for even trying to be friends with him again.

Mark held his left wrist gently, remembering everything that Jack caused. Not all the scars healed, some of them even still hurt, especially the mental ones. It took him to much time to get out of this situation, but he still hated the person that caused it with all of his heart. Jack rolled his eyes and looked at the clock, seeing that five minutes had already passed. He got up to see if the principal was anywhere near, only to find a note attached to the door. He recognised the handwriting as Felix's, and his curiosity grew bigger.

Hey guys!
I know you're probably going to hate me for doing that, but it's for the best. We talked to Dan's mom, the principal, and she offered this idea, and for Mark, your parents know, they're totally fine with it. So, we decided to lock you guys in the school for this weekend. We got you clothes from your houses earlier today (you still need to take that key from me, Jack), and they're in your lockers right now. You have extra clothes just in case, so don't worry. This whole thing is for you guys to make up, maybe not be friends, but at least don't hate each other. By the way, (Jack), you can't try getting out of the school erea, the gates are too high.
Have fun!

-Felix

Jack sighed in frustration, and Mark raised his eyebrow again in confusion. Jack handed him the small paper, almost crumpling it from anger, but held himself. Mark read the letter rather quickly, and it seems like his frown just go deeper as he read more of the letter. When he finished, he wanted to scream, or try to beg for someone to get him out of here, but just ripped the paper into the trash can instead.

Mark was pacing back and forth in the classroom, while Jack tried to think of a way out of here, even though deep inside he knew that there's really no way out. As if on cue, it started to snow outside, signalling that something bad is going to happen, or that there's a storm coming. It rarely happens in LA, and when it does, it's dangerous. The two boys knew they had to get out before the storm, but they couldn't, which means that they're stuck here with each other, and they can do nothing about it expect for try to get along with each other.

They both sat on their own table, being as far away from each other as they can be in the small classroom. "You know," Jack started, deciding to get his anger out at Mark. "Non of this wouldn't happen if you didn't kiss her." He said it as if it was obvious, and Mark did nothing but to squeeze the thick fabric of his shirt, trying to control his anger. "I mean, she was my girlfriend, you can't just go kiss other people's girlfriends." And Jack continued. Mark took deep breaths. "Although, everyone knew you had a crush on her, you always looked at us weirdly when we held hands or something like that. And I get you, we're both guys, we have the same thoughts, we're all the same." Count to 10 Mark, count to 10.

"That still doesn't mean you can just go and kiss her." Mark almost ripped his poor shirt the shreds. "You probably deserved that people laughed at you." That's it. Mark got up in the speed of light, his fist hitting the table underneath him. A thing that sounded like a growl-scream came out of his mouth loudly, and with his voice it sounded like a lion with a really annoying pray.

"I'M SICK," Another fist on the table. "OF YOU," He pointed a finger at Jack, who was terrified at the moment. "I'M SICK OF YOUR SHIT!" Mark started walking slowly towards him, and Jack got closer and slower to the wall behind him, until he couldn't move anymore. "I'M SICK OF YOU BEING SO STUPID!" Another step. "I didn't fucking kiss her, that bitch kissed me! And that stupid thing about me liking her? How could I like her, IF I'M FUCKING GAY? I had a crush on you, but I have no idea why. I don't know what did I ever found in that worthless piece of shit that you dare to call a human. And don't you even dare say that I deserve any of what happened to me, you know nothing about it!" At this point, Mark's finger nearly stabbed Jack's chest, and he didn't know what to do, he was just so scared.

Mark frowned, and put down his hand with his pointing finger. He looked down at Jack, his eyes full of hatred, while Jack's starting to tear up. "Maybe one day you'll find humanity. Until then, don't you dare say that we are the same." And as he finished, Mark stormed out of the room. Jack didn't know where did he go, nor did he dare to get out of the terrified position he's in. He just saw and hear the scariest thing in the world, and he need to fix it. It was all his fault, but he doesn't know what to do.
