~Mallory~

At the moment, I'm only soul in the building. "Why, why me, why can't my brain actually work for once!" A yawn is exhaled as a sign to go home. "Not, not yet! I will win body, I shall go home yet!" Another yawn shows my tiredness that I try to avoid, yet can't. "One more" my head starts to fall over. "Then I'll go home" My eyes shut closed and I go into a whole new world within my mind.

---

"Good morning!" Matt looks over to me along with the other 22 eyes in my direction.
"How long have you been here?!" I shoot up.

"I've been here for about a few-ish hours ish, ish."

"The rest of us have been here for about a half hour-ish ish." Jason flings his head over to Matt sitting next to him who seems tormented with the exaggerated ish ish.

I can't help but let out a small giggle, "your maturity level though." A small snort escapes my mouth.

"Says you." Matt quickly turns towards me.

I couldn't say anything, just bite my lip and act like a teenage girl around her crush who just did something extremely stupid. And yet that's who I am, except for the teenage part.

"So why were you here so late last night?" Jason breaks the silence.

"Why?" I come out a little defensive.

"Just wondering."

"Oh, well, just work stuff."

"Speaking of work, we should be getting to work!"

"Yep."

"Well, it's Tuesday! Peer reading today!" Jason stands up followed by the rest of us.

As usual, Matt and I are spontaneously paired up. We both knew the whole cast ships us even though we did date way back when and eventually broke up. Everyone at Studio C didn't care though, Mattory brought us good ratings. So I see why they won't come out and stop this whole sales device. I knew we broke up for the wrong reason, we both knew, but ever since it hasn't felt right.

"Mallory, do you have anything?" My train of thought completely derails from the touch of Matt's hand.

"Oh yeah, I have a few."

"I have none soooo, I hope you have a lot."

"Usual Matthew, so that's why you always pair up with me, you know I'm the one with all the scripts."

"What no."

"Then why do you? Because you like me?" I tease with a childish voice.

"Funny."

"So let's get to work! I have a few sketches."

"Let me guess, Harry Potter?"

"Seriously?"

"Seriously."

"Yeah." My glasses start to fall off before I push them back up.

"So what's this first one about?"

"A homeschooled girl at Hogwarts."

"That sounds like fun!"

"Not one of my best."
