John entered  the kitchen that evening taking some food out of the fridge. He spotted Elena and made a horrified look.

"You scared me." He said grabbing his chest trying to slow his heartbeat."Sorry." The girl murmured. John relaxed not knowing that the girl in front of him was not his daughter. It was Katherine Pierce."Is Jenna home?" He asked."She had to meet the fire chief about the building. They've covered it up." Katherine explained.

Damn Elena, it is getting easy being you, she thought, he did not even notice.

"Yeah I know. How's Jeremy?" He asked."Holed up in his room." She answered. She stopped chopping the vegetables, and cut of his fingers of the hand his ring was on.

"Katherine?!" He yelp in surprise and pain.

"Hello John,Goodbye John." Katherine said smirking and revealing her vampire face. The sight of her black veins was the last thing he saw before he got stabbed in the stomach.

Katherine watched as Elena called the ambulance for John. The girl was freaking out. 

"Well you are crazy." She heard the voice say behind her. Turning around, she spotted Brooklyn Salvatore. 

"What?!"

"You know, Stefan is way over you. Damon is whining, but he will get over it. My brothers are idiots, you got that the day you let them kill themselves for you. But it got me thinking, who the fuck are you?! So, I did some research."

Katherine's eyes show fear as Brooklyn spoke.

"Funny fact. I think that Niklaus will be thrilled to know that you have payed me a visit."

"You know Klaus?" Katherine's voice broke.

"Know?" Brooklyn chuckled. "I know every part of him, if you know what I mean. And I think that I'm going to a trip to New Orleans, where he is staying currently. If I see you toying with my brothers when I come back, hell will unleash on Earth, you get what I'm saying?" Brooklyn said making Katherine nod.
