Bringing Gifts

"Honey, I'm on the building site!" Brooklyn yelled getting the attention of Klaus' compelled constructors. "And I come bringing gifts!"

She pushed the terrified Gilbert teenager forward and let Jenna's body fall on the ground from her shoulder. Klaus approached looking at her in shock.

"Brooklyn. I don't mean to be rude, but, what the hell?!" He asked.

"I got you, a Petrova doppelganger, and a vampire you just need to feed. Now, admit it Niklaus, I am awesome." Brooklyn smirked at the man that called her his a century ago, but hurt her deeply yesterday.

"I would call your behavior stubborn, love."

She picked Jenna's still unconscious body from the floor and grabbed Elena by the wrist. 

"Well, then, if you think I am both stubborn and useless, we are gonna go." Knowing that he would stop her, she counted to three while getting back to the car.

One... Two... Three.

"Why don't you join me for a drink?" 

"That, Niklaus, is the best decision you have made since you came to this bloody town."

"So, I am no more Nik, just Niklaus? Are we that formal?" He asked taking a sip of his whiskey.

"I am still pissed, Niklaus, so no more cute nicknames." Brooklyn said looking at the ice in her bourbon.

"If I may ask, why pissed?"

"And I thought that Finn was a total idiot." She murmured rolling her eyes.

"I agree, my brother was a moron, but I still do not understand, Brooklyn."

"Klaus, you tried to use me. To sacrifice me. I only wanted to help, and you shunned me. You would be pissed too." 

"You know what? I am in a need of something crazy. So, I am asking you, the littlest Salvatore, to move in after the manor is done. I will have to take your gifts, then." Just to be sure she won't refuse, the hybrid flashed on of his toothy grins.

"Use them carefully." She smirked throwing herself in his arms.
