The 60's dance. What a wonderful occasion for your friends to murder an original.
Brooklyn thought about the past few days as she rummaged through the bag full of her old dresses. Her hands ran on the silk fabric of one of the dresses.
She remembered buying it with Niklaus. It was a hit back in the day. A tear rolled down her cheek and fell on the yellow dotted dress that Brooklyn held in her hands.
Tonight, she thought, they are killing him tonight.
If only they knew. They would not made her be a part of all of that. But they did not think about her feelings. All they cared for is Elena.
Speak about the devil, Brooklyn thought as she watched Elena walk in the room swaying her hips in a pink 60's dress.
Brooklyn's pink dress.
"Oh, hey Brook." The girl said fixing her high ponytail. Her brown hair flew around her head as she twirled a bands around it.
"Elena. Why on Earth are you wearing my dress?" Brooklyn asked sounding pissed off.
"Stefan gave it to me. He said you won't mind."
"Yeah, get it off. You look stupid."
Elena shrugged the comment off walking away.
When she saw Elena again, Brooklyn was fully dressed. She had her hair straightened, her make up was flawless, her heels on. The rest of the crew was sitting around Salvatore living room when she entered.
"So what's the plan?"
"Bonnie is gonna kill him." Damon explained making Brooklyn scoff. All eyes were on her now.
"Do not flatter yourself, Bennett." Brooklyn said. "You people are gonna get yourself killed."
Suddenly, some kind of tension filled the air off the living room. Brooklyn was ready to do anything to try to save his life. Even scare the Bennett witch away. She heard Damon, the only person who read her like the open book, sigh.
"Brook, don't pretend that you are protecting us. Why don't you tell us all who Nik is?" As Damon's words filled the silence of the room, Brooklyn flinched.
"Niklaus Mikaelson is the only man who melted my heart. And you, all of you, are not killing him tonight, or ever. If I have to, Bonnie, I'll make sure of it."
With that said, she made her sunglasses fall and cover her eyes as she swayed her hips out of the house.
Atmosphere that was left in the Salvatore living room after her walkout was full of fear, nervousness and uncertainty.
What if I don't make it, the young Bennett thought. Noticing fear in Bonnie's eyes, Elena said that they will find another way. But the black teenager shook her head no. She was ready to do this for Elena.
"Damon?" Alaric was heard from his seat for the first time since Brooklyn walked in. "I think your ace from the sleeve just became your problem."
Little did the Mystic Gang knew that right there was a man who melted Brooklyn's icy heart.
