As Rhea ran she gathered her thoughts. She knew that Kronos would hunt their baby down. She didn't understand why he tried to swallow this child.
In many ways the child mirrored his father. He had no hair because he was literally born a few hours before but his eyes were wide open. Those black eyes were just like his father, staring years ahead of everyone else. He was a Titan exactly what Kronos wanted. Why couldn't he accept his child?
She fell to her knees and prayed to the only goddess that would help, the Earth goddess, her mother Gaia.
"Mother Gaia! Give me wisdom! Where should I hide my baby?" She shouted, her fist hitting the Earth over and over.
A symbol appeared, burning into the ground... It was a spear. Rhea knew what she had to do though it made her very sad. The sacrifice she would make that night was one that she would unfortunately forget.
As she walked to the House of Atlas she gathered her thoughts. Her son would become a great warrior under Atlas' wisdom. Though he would probably become ruthless, he would be a hero. Of sorts? And Kronos would just see a son of Atlas or maybe a cousin of the Titans. There were so many generations of Titans these day, he would easily be absorbed and Kronos would never be close enough to see his future in his eyes.
She arrived at Atlas' house. With anxiety high, she knocked on the door. It immediately swung open and Atlas' form filled the door.
"My dear, Rhea," His voice boomed ", why are you at my sanctuary?"
"I've brought you a gift." She mumbled "Do what you want with him."
She turned and ran away, weeping. Atlas looked at the child in his arms and his face lit up with evil grin,
"I have the perfect duty for you"
Atlas took the boy to the hearth in his house. He set the boy in the fire and began to mutter a spell.
The kid didn't even have a name, yet he was in a fire.
The boy started to sink and melt into the fire and vanished. The boy opened his eyes, who had almost been swallowed, cracked his skull and found himself in a cave. A lady lay unconscious on a luxurious bed made with pillars and vines. She spoke as if there was an avalanche somewhere.
"You are my son now." Gaia announced. "I think I'll call you Exodus."
