The gods stared at Trigon in aware, taking in the Roman Titan. They hadn't known a Titan could become Roman. In fact, that exact moment is when the Romans got cocky and started giving everybody Roman personalities.
Only one person seemed to understand what was happening. The King of the Gods himself. He had just gotten an extra large package of war and a chance to humiliate his arch enemy. He laughed with excitement and pity. He wanted war, yes, but a new king of the gods, HA!
The other gods joined in pretending to understand the joke but it was a nervous laugh. Minerva watched with interest to see where this was going.
"You are not king." Jupiter continued laughing. "Go away, Trigon. "
Jupiter doubled over as if to imagine Trigon a king was the funniest thing to happen in millenia. Trigon stared at him with a cruel smile plastered on his face and the king stopped laughing.
"Then let war begin!" Trigon boomed as he faded.
Jupiter thought it was a joke but the others were worried. Nevertheless the gods split up. Diana went to her hunters which were still intact even though Rome had taken over.
Diana had just inherited the moon from Selena, the Titan of the moon. She enjoyed her job but was about to lose it. See Trigons plan was to take out the main idols of human civilization and to him that was the Sun and Moon.
So Trigon attacked the hunters. He took Exodus' wolves and made an evil double with with angelic wings. They slightly resembled flying tanks. He had Orion at his side with his mechanical eye's that Hephaestus made for him.
Trigon must've asked Gaia to borrow her son because Orion had history with Artemis.
Anyway so they attacked the hunters. For the hunters it was horrible because most of them fell. Even though they were immortal they could still fall in battle.
The result of this attack is that Trigon assumed control of the hunters including Diana. They were basically his first line in his army. The hunters followed Trigon.
Diana though had a special job. Diana and Trigon would attack cities in the Moon chariot. This is one way people believe that the Moon got its craters. The result of the attacks meant that the moon couldn't soar across the sky which left the world with no night. So it was just day and complete darkness.
Apollo tracked the movements of the Moon chariot, determined to save his sister. But it was a tral. Diana was busy attacking Phoinix the city (yes its not Phoenix) . Apollo arrived as she was attacking the city. Apollo expected Trigon or maybe even Orion but she was alone.
Apollo shouted at his sister. "Hey sis'! Why are you doing this? Where is Orion? Where is Trigon?"
Diana turned to her brother. She wore Styx ice armour made from the river Styx. Her hair was lose which was not very Roman. She carried a white bow also made from Styx ice . Apollo couldn't understand why she looked like she was but she gave him a pleading look.
Too late he realized it was a trap and he had flew right in. Storm spirits jumped from all directions making such a storm that Apollo fell off the Sun chariot. Trigon stood at Apollo's feet.
"This is what happens when you do not bow down to your king." Trigon smiled "Join me Apollo. You can be better than Jupiter."
Apollo took that to heart. He always wanted to be better than Jupiter but you could never outshine the King of the Universe. Apollo submitted. He now served Trigon.
Trigons plan was working. The Sun and Moon was under his control and with neither, his world was as dark as Tartarus.
