9.The Dead became well... Dead

As the Moon and the Sun fell, the Gods fell in chaos. Even being Gods, they couldn't see and with no light, they had nothing to guide them.

This had happened when Persephone had been captured by Hades. Hecate led Demeter through the darkness with her torches. But atlas Hecate could not provide torches to all the gods' especially after providing light to hundreds of towns.

So the Gods decided to stay on Olympus where no enemy could attack them. Unfortunately that meant leaving their domains unguarded. They couldn't be anywhere else but Olympus.

Trigon didn't care much about their plans. He knew the Gods would retreat when everything went dark. Typical of them He thought.

He called Diana and Apollo back and retreated back to what we now call Alaska, the land furthest from Olympus at that time.

All kinds of monsters came to Trigon's call. The normal amount of centaurs, Cyclopes, hellhounds, ogres and dracanae. But there were unique monsters as well like Talos (an automaton made to protect Crete), Dactyl (mythical race of small phallic male beings), Giantomachian dragon (a dragon thrown at Athena in the giant war) and Keres, spirit of violent or cruel death.

I'm sure your thinking a bit too much information but you need to know who these guys were and how powerful and dangerous they are.

Anyway, Trigon went on to the next step in his plan. He opened a portal, with the help of a device he made, right into the Underworld. He took his whole army and marched into the Underworld. He ordered his forces to march on as he took a dip in the river Styx becoming invulnerable. He joined his army after that.

He marched to the fields of punishment and released all those who were being punished on the condition that they join his army. He ordered them to attack the Aisles of the Bless, Elysium.

Trigon opened the gates, dried the river and made a bridge of ghouls towards the gate. The ghosts could now walk out of the Underworld. He destroyed Pluto's castle and took Proserpina. Later on Proserpina had a child. Her name is Odium. She controlled the speed of monster regeneration in Tartarus.

A child the Titan actually intended to make.
