7.War goes crazy

One night, next to the hearth, Athena talked Exodus into having his very first child.

"You need somebody to do quests and represent you as a god. Or in your case, Titan." Athena pressed. " Eventually the world will hear about you Exodus and you'll need an ambassador."

This bugged him a lot, because Exodus liked to take care of his own fights. He liked standing up for himself, carrying his world alone. He didn't want anyone else to do that for him especially his children.

And most people in the world didn't even know he existed. Of course this was good because if people knew about him, they wouldn't want him as an enemy.

So Exodus went down to Athens, found a woman named Chloi (ancient Greek for Chloe). Exodus liked her because she was unique and natural. Sh had a strong presence that she didn't have to force.

So a couple of months later a child was born. His name was Kimo Telikós. His name, in modern language, would have been Jake Ultimate. Ultimate because children of Exodus were considered by him, to be ultimate. Though there were a few problems.

Some of the goddesses wanted to date the demigod. Some of the gods wanted to kill him. But the main problem was Exodus. God's weren't supposed to stay in their children's lives but Exodus was a Titan, not a god. Instead of leaving after Kimo was born, Exodus stayed there with his wife and kid for five years and Ares especially didn't like it.

Everyday Ares would complain to Zeus to pull Exodus out of Athens. Zeus didn't do much as he tended to avoid his brothers. Eventually, Ares got sick of it and instead of asking Zeus, he went to get Exodus himself. He arrived at the Chloi house and knocked on the door.

He peeped inside to see Exodus sitting next to his girlfriend.

"Hey, Ex. Time to come home, my friend." Ares tried charming him.

"Not until I'm sure they'll survive." Exodus responded, not paying any attention to him.

"Fine! If you won't come then I'll take you myself!" So Ares came up to Exodus, grabbed him by his collar and tried to pick him up.

Exodus was probably using some power of gravity which he must've inherited from his grandfather, Ouranos. So Exodus picked Ares up, walked to his son and forced Ares into giving him the blessing of Ares. He said goodbye to his girlfriend and son, then took Ares to the middle of Athens. The people gathered to see what was happening.

Exodus pulled up some magic rope he got from Hephaestus tied Ares to the statue of Athena naked. Now as you might recall, Hephaestus did the same thing to Ares on Olympus. So the people gathered around and laughed and Ares couldn't do anything because he was tied up. So he swore revenge but that didn't happen.

When Ares got free he was mad but he couldn't complain to Zeus so he turned his attention to Athens. He started Peloponnesian war. Even though Sparta won, it caused Ares a major headache. He expected the son of Exodus to be killed but he was wrong. Kimo took twenty men, twenty women and fifty children and left Athens. He spoke with the oracle about their future.

"You shall find a city abd name it your burden for you shall feel sorrow until life has seen you." She had told him.

As most people, Kimo, at first, didn't understand how life will help him but he knew he had to find a new city. So he travelled until he found a good spot. He founded the city, called Varos. The city of Burden, for Kimo had lost his mother. He had left her in Athens.

Ares didn't like that he made a city neither did he like the fact that he survived the attack on Athens. But for now Ares had to accept defeat which was something he was starting to get used to.
