Over the years the young boy lived, slept and ate next to Gaia. She taught him how to manipulate the Earth. He became very good at it because the very Earth was teaching him. One day when Gaia thought it was right she let the son go.
She had raised him and as far as he knew, Gaia was the only mother he had. Gaia thought the same way. Unlike the Titans and her monster kids (Typhoon), Gaia raised the boy to be himself. She didn't raise him to wreak vengeance on the gods.
When the boy, who had grown into a teenager, appeared on the surface he met a nymph named Shadow (for the water was black as night). She explained what had happened while he was away. She explained how the gods took over.
"So where's Kronos?" He asked. He was anxious to meet his father even though he tried to eat him, maybe for revenge.
"They cut his body into pieces and threw it in the pit." Shadow said, as if it was the best thing ever.
For most it was but for him, it was complicated.
He left her at her stream and wondered towards his father's palace. Well what was left of it. Everything was reduced to rubble. He stumbled and climbed over the rubble to what was the throne room. He dug around until he found it. His fathers scythe.
"What are you doing here?" A voice asked. To him it sounded like a king. To others it sounded like the king of the universe. He turned to find a boy who glowed with electricity. "This is a forbidden place. Anybody that wonders here needs to answer to me, Lord Zeus!"
Instead of answering, the boy lifted his arms in a swift motion, churning the rubble into a tornado. He concentrated most of his power and threw it towards Zeus. It hit him like a wave and the boy descended into the Earth once more.
After all twelve Olympians were in their seats, thousands of years later, the boy appeared on the surface. Only the boy was now a strong man. When Hermes saw this he reported it to his dad, Zeus, "Dammit! My troubles have returned. "
Most of them nodded in agreement but the ladies were busy taking in just how handsome and powerful he was. Even Athena was interested. They had already worked out that he was a Titan.
Zeus got everybody in their chariots and descended to kill or severally injure the man. As the others rained down, Zeus stayed in the air, sensing the newcomer.
"His location has shifted. He is at Olympus!" He informed the other gods.
The Olympians ascended back towards their home. Zeus led the Olympians, crackling with energy, into the throne room. Literally, lightning appeared all over his body. He found the young man relaxing in his throne.
"I am Exodus, Titan of life and all elements!"
ΩΩΩ
The gods all stared in shock at the Titan of life. They couldn't believe he had the bravery or stupidity to be here but Zeus became mad and asked a question,
"Who are your parents?"
"Well you should know, younger brother." Exodus replied. Zeus held himself back. He would like no more than to break Exodus.
"When exactly were you born?" Athena asked. Being the god of wisdom she was very curious about the new comer.
"I was born after my sister Hestia." He looked at her with a sweet smile on his face. "I wasn't swallowed. I escaped and was given to the Earth goddess, Gaia, where she taught me the many ways of the Earth."
Zeus took this as an opportunity for him to get the upper hand.
"You retrieved Fathers' scythe. You are working with the enemy!"
"No brother. I simply longed to see my father to get answers and in the process, retrieved his weapon. I learned about the war from a nymph named Shadow. She is my sacred nymph," He turned his face towards Zeus, his deadly power flaring in his eyes. ", and she's off limits."
Zeus looked dumbstruck. The other gods laughed even the king's wife, Hera. They all got introduced. Exodus complimented everyone. He complimented Aphrodite. He called Aphrodite "unnaturally beautiful" but Athena burst her bubble by telling her that she was unnatural. He even gifted the scythe to Demeter.
Exodus then explained that he was the Titan of elements, life, creation, heavenly spirits and creatures. He explained that he had made a T-Rex from his thoughts by bleeding. He could make any creature by using his blood and thoughts alone. He also explained how he could control any element that ever existed even water.
"Hey! That's my element!", Poseidon complained.
After a lot of complaining he finally got his brother to calm down. He explained that he kept the elements in their boundaries. For example: he kept water from being fire and lightning from being earth.
And that is how Exodus became one of the Olympians, the thirteenth Olympian.
