Fallacy POV
____________________________________
Celeste and Encre have been staying here for 8 days now. I've noticed Encre is becoming less of an introvert, and had gotten better with English. (Either that or author is too lazy to keep going to Google Translate.)

I still didn't know her that well, though. I didn't intend to, either. I had trust issues, according to 'Jasper the Amazing Psychiatrist.'

Besides that, Felicia had begun to plan a ball that would happen in about a month. She had invited Celeste, Jasper, Encre and I.

To be honest I never really enjoyed balls. I knew how to dance, that wasn't the issue. The problem was that I didn't enjoy dancing in public.

People always seemed to stare at me and my wife as we danced. It had made me uncomfortable. And no, they weren't staring at us in awe, I knew that.

Regardless, I had to go. I had to go because of I didn't, Felicia would never stop pestering me.

Still, I would rather watch others dance than do it myself.

Encre POV
____________________________________
I had been informed of the ball. Celeste and Jasper were ecstatic. I didn't want to go, but I would. I knew that Celeste was already planning on how to dress.

I was honestly just planning on wearing the dress Celeste had given to me. I've never really dressed up, I've never had to.

The other reason I didn't want to go was because of the fact that I could barely dance.

??? POV

Heh. I thought I'd finally found Celestes hiding place.

Then again, I'm sure I did. After all, her scent was reeking up the place. But there were other scents, too. Bandits and useless soldiers.

She's more pathetic than I thought! Taking in any scum that walks up to her doorstep.

If I did find her hiding place, than she somehow knew I was coming.

How in God's name could she know?! I had made sure to cover up my army's tracks, and their scents were disguised with those of various plants.

A thought hit me. Felicia. That stupid vampire who had adopted Celeste.

I bet she saw us and told Celeste. I scowled. I had always hated vampires.

They always thought that they were better than werewolves because they have fangs and can fly.

A voice snapped me from my thoughts.

"Sir, we have new information on Celeste."

"Good." I responded.

"Apparently, there is a ball in about a month."

"Great." I sneered.

"Oh, and you know Encre, the girl from the village that you loved?"

"Yes?"

"She's there, too."

A twisted smile lit up on my face.

"This keeps on getting better and better. Do you know where they are?" I questioned.

He chuckled and smirked, a look of triumph on his face.

"I do. They're at Fallacy, the Vampire Kings, castle. I've been observing the castle carefully, and know that they don't post that many guards. A break in should be easy!"

"Excellent work. You deserve a day to yourself." I said.

With that he turned and left, obviously satisfied.

Things were going better than I had planned. I now knew where Celeste was, and Encre.

I had fallen for the little artist, and had watched her very carefully.

Soon, very soon, I would have her as my own.

  My own living masterpiece.
