14. Like mother like daughter

Crown Princess Xin was waiting patiently on her bed with her mother who was the exact image of her but slightly darker eyes and wrinkles can be seen under her eyes which she tries to cover heavily with powder other than that everything else was the exact same the pale skin, brunette hair and curved cheeks, they were both waiting for the physician to examine Xin and see if she is with a child.

"My daughter where is that husband of yours?" Asked Lady Yang.

"Mother he left for war yesterday, he didn't even say farewell how typical of him", Xin sighed in response.

"My poor Xin having to be alone during this pregnancy without a husbands support! It will be lovely surprise when he comes back to meet his little one!" Xins mother cooed.

The door suddenly opened to Xins chambers and a old male physician entered the room bowing to the women before him.

"Your highness I am here to check your pulse", Said the physician in a respectful manner.

Xin got up from her bed to sit on her dresser stool where she boastfully gave her hand to the physician. The man began reading it, after awhile he fell to the floor bowing in fear.

"Well? Am I pregnant?" Xin said confused at the physicians sudden behaviour.

"Forgive me your highness but your are not with child and you will never be with child!" The physician cried.

Xin with her mother got up from their seats in shock and disbelief. "What do you mean she'll never be with child?! Are you saying she is infertile?!" Lady Yang shouted in anger.

"Forgive me my lady but the princess is indeed infertile! Her womb is cold no seed can survive!" The physician said constantly bowing.

" I don't understand my cycle is late, I've been craving seafood and also I feel nauseous! And you're telling me I'm not pregnant?!" Xin asked almost in tears.

"Did you say seafood?" The physician asked looking up at Xin in shock.

"Yes why do you ask?" Xin replied.

"Then you've drank a infertility tonic, this specific tonic causes craving of seafood and nausea!" The physician explained to Xin.

Xin thought to herself for a moment before it finally hit her.

"THAT B*TCH! SHE DID THIS! SHE WILL PAY WITH HER LIFE!" Xin screamed tossing all her belongs from her dresser on the floor with anger.

"My daughter please calm and explain to me what is going on!" Lady Yang cried trying to calm her furious daughter.

"THAT WOMAN! I SHOULD'VE KNOWN! SHE WILL PAY! YOU WILL ALL PAY!" Xin shouted bursting in to tears.

"My daughter please contain your anger! It is not right for a lady to behave like this!" The woman shouted.

Xin took in deep breaths before standing up to grab the physicians neck with her sharp claws as she towered over him to look him straight in the eye, The poor man began whimpering in fear while she strangles him with her sharp claws. Lady Yang was appalled with her daughters sudden behaviour but she wasn't planning on her stopping her it's not like this is the first time they've killed people together.

"Your highness, what's-wrong.....please....." The physician coughed while Xins claws caved in deeper.

"You are going to listen to exactly what I'm about to say if you refuse I will have no problem in eliminating you", Xin whispered in the physicians ears while keeping a tight grip on his neck.

"Anything please! Spare my life! I have a family...at home!" The physician cried.

"Excellent, now you are first going to the Empress to announce my pregnancy say I'm three months pregnant! No one is to know that I'm infertile especially not the Crown Prince, if word gets out you will pay with your life!" Xin said slowly loosening a grip on his neck.

"How will...you fake a pregnancy they'll know..." The man asked.

"That's for me to worry about! I'll think of something! Now go to the Empress and tell her my news, on second thought I'll go with you!" Xin laughed twirling around her room.

"May you please leave me and my daughter for awhile!" Lady Yang said to physician.

The old man bowed before quietly shutting the door behind him. Lady Yang gave her daughter a questioning look which she returned with a smirk.

"Well? Can you explain to me what your plan is?" Lady Yang asked grinning at her daughter.

"I'm going to fake a pregnancy, I know it was that B*tch who calls herself Empress that made me drink infertility medicine, so I won't let her win I WILL be future Empress not that other wench Zhen li!" Xin laughed sitting on her dresser.

"I like your thinking my daughter! In fact don't worry about how will you keep the act I'll help you, one of our incompetent maids got pregnant so we will take her child and say it's yours!" Lady Yang laughed fixing her daughters hair while they both looked at the mirror smirking.

"After that foolish physician tells the Empress I'm pregnant, arrange for his beheading", Xin whispered in her mothers ear.

Her mother nodded and they both laughed together smirking at the mirror.
