Chapter 16

Sorry if I didn't do good at hurricane things. I didn't really feel like researching for a fanfiction so please don't fight (for) me. Umm....ethers a lot of deaths.....yeah. Here we go!!!

Veronica POV

JD - RUN!!!

The five of us sprinted out of the hospital,as fast as we could. People were racing around as fast as they could. No one knew where they were supposed to go. Heather and Kurt ran up to some of the patients and helped them get to a safe place. Ram, JD, and I threw the door open and came face to face to a giant hurricane. Trees were blowing and flying off of the ground. Buildings were being knocked over and the streets were flooding. It was my worst nightmare.

Veronica - SKYLER??!!! Oh god!!!  WHERE IS SHE?!!
Ram - It'll be okay Veronica. We'll find her!

Heather McNamara POV

I ran around the parking lot. I tried to remember which one of these were JDs. My clothes were getting dirty and pulled against me. My hair was flying into my face and was soaking wet. I knew that I should try to save myself but I needed to find Skyler. Over the chaos that was happening around me, I could hear a faint child cry. I tried to follow it as best as I could.

I felt myself bang into something and fall to the ground. I felt myself being pushed away by the hurricane. I tried to crawl back up but it was just pushing against me. I looked up to see the dirty face of Heather Duke staring down at me.

HeatherM - HEATHER!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!
HeatherD - Sorry girl, but, the weakest must go.

I cried knowing that there was nothing I could do. I was being pushed up against the wall and I couldn't move. All I could do right now was pray and hope that the little girl would be alright.

Skyler - HEATHER!!!!

I felt the little girl ram into my side. I was pushed back and I watched as the little girl stood as best she could where I had stood before. I was getting extremely wet but I needed to help her. I reached my hand out to her. She smiled and was about to take it.

I screamed as a giant car that had been picked up slammed on top of the girl. Blood splattered all over my clothes and I stared in horror of what happened. Then I realized....that was JDs car.

HeatherM - I GOTTA GO!!!

I flung myself as best I could and looked around for somewhere to hide. I spotted an underground tornado shelter. It was meant for tornados, but it was the best I had right now. I jumped in with the last of my energy and closed the door. I sat in silence as I rubbed my hands against each other in the dark. I didn't know when it was going to be over.....but I could hear the bangs against the door. I decided my best choice was to try and rest for a second.

Heather Duke POV

I pounded against the storm shelter that I had seen Heather jump into. I started screaming and banging harder but that idiot couldn't hear me and she didn't open up. I knew that my time was up. And there was nothing I could do about it.

HeatherD - FFFFFFUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKK!!!!!!!

The waves crashed into me and I felt myself being dragged along the street. I screamed and tried splashing around but I was just being hit to the bottom again. I tired to breathe but I couldn't. The last sight I saw was the giant hospital being looked over by stormy clouds. Then....it all went black.
