Chapter 21

Kurt POV

I had just arrived in my old kingdom and it already felt dreary. I knew that my dad was probably going to make a ball from me and invite every girl who lived around the kingdom. The same thing and been done Thomas and Martin, the princes of the neighbouring kingdoms. Speaking of those kingdoms....

Mark - Well if it isn't Kurt Kelly?!
Kurt - Huh? Mark! Phil!
Phil - Hey Buddy! What are you doing back here? We haven't seen you in forever!

I was sitting in the back garden when my two friends saw me from across the fence. I unlocked the gates and let them in. It felt nice to see my old friends again. They were some of the only people who understood me. They are also the only things I miss about living here.

Mark was the prince of the Fischback kingdom. He had black hair but last time I saw it it had been dyed pink, then blue, then red. The guy liked to try different colors. He wore black rimmed glasses that matched his dark brown eyes. He was a kind heart with a very muscular structure. A gentle giant you could say. Although, he wasn't really that tall. He was short like me. Every girl in the kingdom had a crush on Mark.

Phil on the other hand was very tall. He was quite skinny and not very muscular. He had very pale skin and blue eyes that were his biggest and most known feature. He had raven black hair that swept to the right side of his face. He was a hilarious and colorful soul. He was originally from England, but he got used to living in his kingdom pretty quickly.

Kurt - Dad wanted to pull me away from our normal life. He took me here so that I could continue the line as the oldest. I had just gotten proposed to, then he just, he just took me away. It's not freaking fair!
Mark - Awww, who's the girl?
Kurt - Oh yeah. Umm...it's...it's a guy.
Phil - So you're gay?
Kurt - Yeah.....
Phil - COOL SO ARE WE!!!
Mark - Well, I'm bi but Phil is gay as fuck.
Phil - Yeah I'm gay as....fudge.
Kurt - You guys are so lucky! You can actually be with guys and no one cares! You have older brothers who can continue the throne.
Mark - YOU THINK NO ONE CARES!!! Of coarse people care! My parents barely ever talk to me now that they know I'm dating a guy.
Kurt - Spill Mark.
Mark - His names Jack. He has beautiful blue eyes and green hair. He's actually from Ireland and his accent is so adorable! I met him about a month ago and we've been dating for about two weeks.
Kurt - Awww....I'm dating this guy named Ram. He has glittering blue eyes and we've been through so much together and he just makes me so happy.
Phil - That's adorable!
Kurt - So who are you dating Phil?
Phil - Huh?!
Mark - Who is this boy?!
Phil- Well, I'm not exactly dating, but I do have a crush.
Mark - YES!!!
Phil - His name is Dan. He's a poor boy from my kingdom but his sister was one of the girls who might marry my brother. He has chocolate brown eyes and a brown fringe that goes to the left. Kinda like me.
Kurt - How'd ya meet?
Phil - Well...

Flashback

Phil POV

I was standing next to my brother as he looked at some of the young girls in the kingdom. I've never told anyone that I was gay and I had never shown anyone any thoughts for liking guys. It had just been in my thoughts, how long could I keep this thing up?

I saw something grab my attention from the other side of the room. I could make out the shape of a boy who was running somewhere in the back gardens. I didn't think anyone was allowed back there, but depending how cute he is, I'll let him go.

Phil - I think someone got into the the gardens. I'm gonna go check it....

My brother was to busy making out with some girl. I scoffed and ran off to where I saw the figure go. I walked out into the dark, moonlight lit gardens. It was definitely the most beautiful packed here. I could see the shape of that figure sitting on a bench near the rose bush. I made my way over to them and sat down next to them.
