disclaimer: you can read this if you haven't seen greys anatomy but what you need to know is: Meredith and Maggie are Amelias sister in laws, Derek was Amelia's brother and merediths husband but he died, Zola, Bailey, and Ellis are Amelia and Maggie's nieces and nephew, and I'll put more disclaimers when needed.
AMELIAS POV
I woke up and went downstairs. I need to be at the hospital in 30 minutes. Meredith was already up and Maggie was already at the hospital.
"Hey what do you know about Owen Hunt," I said grabbing breakfast.
"He was friends with Derek," Meredith said, "why?"
"no reason," I said going over to play with Zola and Bailey.
"You think he's cute?" She said.
"I didn't say that," I said lifting bailey up. I carried him around the kitchen.
"Oh come on I've seen the way you look at him," she said making the kids breakfast.
"Is it that noticeable?" I asked.
"Nah I made that up to get you to confess,"
she said smiling.
"ugh, so do u think he likes me," I said.
"Yeah," she said. I smiled. I helped Meredith get the kids ready for day care. Meredith, Maggie and I car pool to work everyday. Sometimes we pick up Alex (a/n Alex is their friend). We got to the hospital and I carried Bailey in as Meredith pushed Ellis and Zola held her had. I walking in and said good morning to Maggie. I dropped bailey off and got a page. It was from Owen.
"What's with all the smiling?," Maggie asked.
"She has a crush on Owen Hunt," Meredith said.
"Mer!" I almost yelled.
OWENS POV
Derek was my best friend. His sister came to work at the hospital not to long ago. She's really sweet and cute. I'm afraid she doesn't feel the same way about me. I paged her for a surgery. Hopefully the surgery goes well and I can ask her to dinner.
AMELIAS POV
Owen paged me for a surgery. I scrubbed and got ready. I did my part of the surgery and I got paged for something else. Owen later came and found me.
"Hey Amelia," he said. I turned around and smiled.
"Yeah," I said.
"Want to go to dinner tonight?" He said, "or get some drinks?"
"I don't drink, so dinner?" I said.
"Sure can I pick you up at 7?" He said.
"Yeah sure," I smiled.
"Okay," he said. I went and found Meredith. She didn't look to busy.
"Hey guess what," I said
"What?" She said, "you're happy what happened?"
"Owen asked me to dinner," I said.
"Yay, that's good right?" She said
"Yeah, I'm gonna probably steal your shoes tonight *laughs* ," I said.
"Fine *laughs* ," she said.
