AMELIAS POV
Mer drove me over and we got out.
"Nathan really likes you," I said. She turned to me.
"Really?" she said.
"Yeah," I said. She unlocked to door and Maggie was on the couch.
"Hey guys," she said.
"Hey," I said sitting down next to her.
"Do you guys want ice cream?" Mer asked.
"Yes," Maggie and I both said. She came back and we are ice cream and watched movies for a while.
"Are you going to work tomorrow?" Maggie asked.
"Yeah can you guys come pick me up tomorrow?" I asked.
"Yeah," Meredith said.
"Thanks," I said.

It was almost 1am and we were all pretty tired.
"Want me to drive you home?" Maggie asked.
"Yeah thanks," I said. I got up and got my jacket.
"Good night Mer," I said.
"Good night Amelia," she said. I got in Maggie's car.
"How's Owen?" She asked.
"He's better," I said.
"That's good, how are you?" She asked.
"I'm alright," I said. We pulled up and she hugged me tight.
"I'll see you tomorrow," I said.
"See you tomorrow," she said. I got out and unlocked the trailer door.
"Owen?" I said quietly.
"Yeah?" He said. I hung my coat and locked the door.
"Hi honey," I said walking into the bedroom, "need anything?"
"No," he said. I climbed into bed next to him. He kissed my lips and smiled at me.
"You're cute," I said, "and guess who gets to go to work tomorrow!"
"You cutie," he said leaning into me and kissed me.
"Work won't be the same without you for a few weeks," I said.
"I asked Bailey to step in as chief for me," he said.
"That means I have to get my paperwork done on time doesn't it," I laughed.
"Yeah it does," he laughed and kissed me again.
"I'm gonna miss you at work," I said.
"You look really hot in navy scrubs you know," he laughed and kissed my head.
"Owen!" I laughed and hit his arm, "gosh I love you."
"Love you too," he said. I leaned into him and closed my eyes.

Someone knocked on the trailer door. I rolled over and looked at the time. 7:30am. Shit. I got up and threw clothes on and opened the door with my tooth brush in my mouth.
"Hey," I said as I opened the door.
"Morning," Mer said.
"Give me five minutes," I said. I brushed my hair and finished brushing my teeth. I grabbed coffee on my way out. I locked the door and hopped in the car with Maggie and Mer.
"Morning," Maggie said.
"Did I wake you up?" Mer laughed.
"What? No!" I laughed. We got to work and it felt so good to be back. I started with some charts and I had one surgery today.

My day finished and Mer and Maggie were still working. I ran into Riggs in the cafeteria.
"Hey good to have you back," he said.
"Thanks," I said.
"Day over?" He asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"Need a ride home?" He offered.
"Uh, sure," I said. We walked out to his car. He drove me to the trailer.
"Thanks again," I said.
"No problem," he said. I unlocked the door and stepped in.
"Hey honey," I said as I closed the door.
"Hi," he got up and hobbled over to me to give me a hug and a kiss.
"Look at you," I laughed. He looked out the window.
"Is that Nathan's car?" He looked at me.
"Why does it matter?" I asked him.
"Amelia you know how I feel about him," he said.
"And he can't drive me home?" I asked.
"Amelia," he said.
"What? He can't drive me home from work?"
I said sternly.
"No!" He yelled.
"That's ridiculous!" I yelled back.
I sat at the table and looked at him. He sat down across from me.
"Amelia, you know how I feel about him," he said.
"I know," I said.
"I'm sorry I yelled," he said.
"Me too," I said.
"Are we okay?" He grabbed my hand from across the table.
"Yeah," I smiled at him. I leaned across the table and kissed him.

I was so tired. I curled up into Owen and my phone buzzed. I took my phone out of my pocket. It was Mer.
M- Mer
A- Amelia
M: Amelia!! Nathan and I just had sex
A: omg
M: what does this mean?
A: is he still there?
M: yeah I think he wants to move in together
A: do you want to?
M: well I do but what about the kids
A: oh
M: he's coming back downstairs I gtg bye
A: bye
I rolled over into Owen. He put his arm around me and kissed my head. He closed his computer and looked at me.
"I love you," he said.
"Love you too," I said.
