OWENS POV
I woke up around 6, I had to get going to work. I'm giving Amelia the day off. I wrote her a sticky note and left for the day.

"Hunt where's Shepherd I need a consult," April asked.
"She has the stomach bug she won't be in today and probably not tomorrow," I said.
"Hey is Amelia still sick?" Meredith asked.
"Yeah," I said.
"Poor thing," she said.
AMELIAS POV
I woke up at 12. I rolled over and Owen wasn't there. I assumed he was at work. I grabbed my phone. I called Owen.
O- Owen
A- Amelia
A: hi honey are you busy??
O: not at the moment, did you just wake up?
A: yeah
O: well good morning
A: I still don't feel good
O: want me to come home?
A: no it's okay I just wanted to hear your voice
O: okay honey, but I gotta go so I'll see you later okay?
A: okay I love you
O: I love you too
I rolled over and turned the TV on. I grabbed my phone again and ordered a pizza. I still feel sick.

I was watching some random movie and eating pizza in bed and there was a knock on the door.
I don't wanna get up. I got up and walked to the door. I opened it and it was Maggie. I hadn't brushed my hair or even gotten dressed at all today so I'm glad it was just my sister in law.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey I wanted to check on you, Owen asked me to come," she said. I let her in.
"Want pizza?" I said.
"Wow aren't you having a fun day off," she laughed.
"Sick day off," I laughed.
"I was gonna ask if you needed anything but you seem fine," she laughed.
"I want to go to work ugh," I said.
"When's the last time you threw up?" She asked.
"Do I lie to go to work or tell the truth?" I laughed.
"Truth Amelia Shepherd," she laughed. I looked at the time.
"Hmm I want to say 20 minutes ago," I said.
"Hospital policy is 24 hours," she said.
"I'm dating the chief," I laughed.
"If you show up at work tomorrow I'm telling him," she laughed.
"Ugh fine," I said. Her pager went off.
"Sorry I gotta go, maybe I'll stop by later," she said.
"It's okay thanks for coming," I said, "oh and tell Owen I love him."
"Gotcha, I'll also tell him you can't go to work tomorrow," she said.
"Ugh alright," I said.
"Bye love you," she said.
"Love you Mags," I said.

I guess I passed out on the couch again because I heard Owen open the door.
"Hey honey," he said coming in.
"Sleep," I said.
"Can I have pizza?" He asked.
"After you cuddle with me you can," I said. He came over and hugged me.
"Love you," I said.
"Love you too," he said.
"Can you grab me a piece?" I asked
"Sure," he said. I sat up and ate pizza with Owen. He put his arm around me and we watch TV.
"You're not going to work tomorrow," he said.
"Owen please!" I begged.
"You're cute but no," he laughed.
"I'm so bored here please," I begged more.
"No," he said.
"Ugh you're so stubborn," I laughed. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I leaned back. He kissed me passionately.
"Don't get sick," I said.
"Who cares I'll get to stay home with you," he laughed. There was banging on the door.
"Ugh," I said and got up.
"I got it," Owen said.
"I slept for half the day I can get up," I laughed. I opened the door and it was Mer.
"Amelia oh my god I need to talk to you," she looked really nervous.
"Okay," I turned to Owen, "were taking the bedroom." I took Mer's arm and closed the door.
"What's wrong," I said.
"Nathan, he-he asked me out and I'm freaking out, I mean I kissed him the other day but," she said pacing. I put my hands on her shoulders.
"Okay calm down, did you say yes?" I asked.
"Of course I said yes!" she said.
"Okay, you like him right?" I said.
"Yes I like him, I really like him, but he's not Derek and what if I screw up, what if he doesn't give me as many chances as Derek did?" She looked so nervous.
"Hey, it will be okay," I said hugging her.
"Gosh I miss Derek," she said.
"So do it," I said.
"Okay so I'm gonna go see him, thank you, feel better I love you," she hugged me tighter.
"Love you too, text me how it goes," I hugged her back. I opened the door and she left. I sat next to Owen.
"I miss Derek," I said.
