AMELIAS POV
My phone started ringing. I rolled over and looked at it. It was Mer. Owen was still sleeping. I walked into the bathroom.
A-Amelia
M-Meredith
A: hey what's up?
M: where's ur pager?
A: on my night stand why?
M: check it
A: there's no pages
M: can you come to the hospital
A: yeah why
M: the pagers aren't working
A: oh yeah duh okay I'll be there in 20 minutes
M: you live 5 minutes down the road *laughs*
A: Mer I'm standing in my bathroom in my pajamas I'll be 20 *laughs*
M: okay
I got dressed and made a quick cup of coffee. Owen was still passed out. I scribbled a note for him and grabbed my keys.

I got to the hospital and there was a bunch of head traumas. I had to do a million consults. I got pulled into a surgery. I scrubbed in with Edwards.

My phone buzzed.

A- Amelia
O: call me when you can I love you, nothing urgent xoxo
A: okay xoxo
I walked into an on call room and dialed his number.
A: hey
O: good morning
A: are you coming into work?
O: yeah I just wanted to hear your voice before work
A: you're cute
O: you're cuter
A: I gotta go, I'll see you later
O: okay I love you
A: love you too
I walked out and I had a surgery to scrub in for.

I was walking down the hall with Edwards and I ran into Owen.
"Hey," I smiled.
"Hi," he said putting his arm around me. Edwards pager went off so she left. I smiled up at Owen.
"What?" He laughed.
"Nothing," I laughed. He kissed my head. There was an empty on call room.
"I'm tired, you have surgeries?" I asked.
"Not for 20 minutes," he said. I closed the door and laid down. He came and laid down next to me. I kissed his cheek and he rubbed my back.
