Robbie had the biggest smile on his face as he looked at Everly. Her face was still in awe since they landed in Italy and he was enjoying every second. The two were seated on their hotel room's balcony where they were enjoying a candle light dinner with the best views of the Italian coast.

"This is amazing!" She said with a wide smile on her face.

"I just wanted to take you somewhere you have always wanted to visit and I know how much you wanted to come here." He told her before kissing one of her hands.

"This is beautiful. I am so glad you took me here." She gave him a sweet kiss on the cheek.

This weekend, the couple were celebrating their 6 months' anniversary. It has been a crazy journey for both with Robbie's obvious struggle to get into a relationship after what happened with his last but also for Everly's secret struggles.

"I just wanted to let you know that I am glad we decided to give this relationship a shot." Robbie said to her.

Everly smiled at him but felt bittersweet. Here was this man taking her to Italy and proving himself every day to be the best boyfriend in the world and she was not being true to him.

"I bought you here because I wanted you to know that I love you." Robbie confessed making Everly's heart stop and tears to begin to fall from her eyes. "I do. I truly do. I love you Everly. I love you so much that I want you to be next to me for the rest of my life."

"What?" Everly asked in shock and breathless.

Robbie smiled trying to calm her down and got up from his seat. He retrieved a black velvet box from his jeans' pocket and got on one knee.

"Would you make me the happiest men in the world by becoming my wife? Would you marry me?" He said to a crying Everly.

Tears were running down her face and her hands were clasped over her mouth. She was in shock, she would have never expected this to happen, not even on her wildest dreams.

"I-I love you too...but...I can't marry you." Everly finally spoke.

Robbie's heart broke for the second time in his life. Everly saw the way it hurt him and she believed he would never be the same after this. Robbie gripped the velvet box on his hands and tears began to fall from his eyes.

"I don't get it. If you love me why don't you want to marry me." He whispered vulnerably.

"Because you can't truly love me without knowing everything about me. Who knows, maybe after knowing you won't even want to marry me." She chuckled on the end trying to get some tensions off.

"There is nothing in this world that would make me not want to marry you." Robbie spoke making Everly cry again.

He wanted to pull her into a hug but was unsure whether she would want that or not. He felt that she wanted to marry him just as much as he wanted to marry her. However, he felt that whatever she was about to tell him was enough to refrain her from marrying him.

"I was still a teen when my father thought he could use me like money. He was a drug addict and I put up with him for years after my mother left. I managed to go through high school but when it came to college I couldn't even sign up for it since all my university saving were stolen by my own father to expend on drugs." She explained.

"What an asshole!" Robbie said.

"We are not even starting." She said bitterly with a tear running down her face. "He gambled away anything he could until he lost his house and me along the way."

"What do you mean?" Robbie asked unsure if he understood well.

"What you hear, my own father bet on me. I was the exchange of my father's debt for his drugs." She told him.

"That is sick! That bastard! If I get my hands on him, I swear I will kill him." Robbie said angrily.

"Don't Robbie, please." She begged him with tears on her eyes.

"That is not all, right?" He asks.

"No." She sobbed. "The guy who took me he...he abused of me."

Robbie saw red. He just wanted to grab those bastards and kill them with their own hands.

"How did you get away?" Robbie speaks once he calms down.

"A month after police appeared. They knew about the drug and human trafficking and saved me." She told him. "The police gave me somewhere to stay, a new identity, food and money in order to make a living. I managed to get a job at Styles Inc as your secretary while I was finishing my degree and the rest you know it."

"What is your real name?" He asked.

"It's Eva but I hate that name because it reminds me to what I have gone through. My true name is Everly." She said. "I understand it if you don't want to marry me after this."

"Who says I don't want to marry you still?" Robbie asks.

Everly looked up at him with wide eyes full of tears. He got back down on his knees a touched her face with his hands stopping every tear that was falling.

"I love you. I don't care about your past. In fact, I think I love you more now." He said.

"I love you too. I can't believe this." Everly said with a small smile appearing on her lips.

"Would you marry me then Everly?" He asked her once again.

"Yes, yes, yes!" She said excited.

He pulled her up and spun her around as she giggled. They were in a bubble of joy specially after their sad pasts. He had been heartbroken after losing his first true love while she had been heartbroken by a father who sold her out to some guy who abused her.

That night, they finally gave into desire and made love for the first time. Even after 6 months of dating, they had taken it slow. Secretly, Everly hided her scars from the abuse she had received and was afraid of physical intimacy. However, as soon as their bodies began to make the talking she relaxed and enjoyed the moment.

That night as the two became one, their hearts were finally full of unconditional love and a new life was created.

A/N: sorry guys it's been a while. I have had exams this past two weeks but now I am finally on a break. Although I have an essay to write, I will try to find some time to update. 

This week has been very hectic as well. My university has got involved in some deep shit. On Tuesday it was all over the Spanish news that two professor from my uni were arresting for selling a medicine for cancer that did nothing. They were not professors on my degree but well my university just got in a lot of trouble over it and the news were everywhere in my country. There were cameras in campus and all. We will see what happens but it is definitely not good for the uni's reputation...sigh

How good is Sign of the Times? It's amazing! It kind of was what I expected from Harry. Also I am loving that his album is being released so soon! It's just around the way, how crazy is that?!
