Chapter 11

Grayson pov. 

"Do you know Noah?" King asked, looking up from my lap. The blanket was tightly wrapped around her and the hood of her sweater was pulled over her head.  

I shrugged, trying my best to remember the last time I have talked to him or even seen him, "I have met him a few time, but I don't know him well" I told her, looking over at cole who was balancing himself on kings feet to look out the window.

"What does he look like?" she asked, now sitting up in the middle seat with her head on my shoulder. "He looks like you, the two different colored eyes, dark blonde," I said trying to remember what he looked like. "What else do you know?" she asked.

"Umm her has a son, named Roman he should be around sixteen now and a mate, her names Jade" I add, looking down at her as I pulled onto a dirt road off of the highway that leads to the Alphas house 

She was looking up at him with wide eyes, "I was two when he was born" she told me and I nodded doing the math in my head remembering that she was still eighteen, "You were" I told her kissing her forehead. 

though is was pitch black outside I could till see the outline of guards that were hidden in the trees as we drove past, "Almost there" I commented driving past a few houses until the house came into view. 

I could feel her body tense up next to mine as she pulled herself closer. I wrapped my arm around her and kissed the top of her head, "It's going to be fine" I told her as I parked my truck next to others that were off to the side.

She looked up at me and smiled, "I know it's just scary" she told me and I nodded. I opened up the door and closed it while she got out the other side, gathering up her stuff and Cole and I got our bag. 

"I'm happy you guys made it," a voice said, a voice owned by Jade who was standing under the bay window that was above the front door, shielded from the snow and rain combination that was falling. "Me too" I sighed, waiting for King who was shyly making her way over to me. 

"How was the drive?" Jade asked as I took King's hand in mine, "Icey, but other than that good" I told her leading King to the door. "That's good, Noah is in his office if you would like to speak to him," she told me before looking at King. 

Kingsley gave her a shy smile and pulled my arm closer to her body, "she won't hurt you" I linked before turning back to Jade, "Thanks, I'm sure Noah would love to see King again" I said as I followed her into the house and set down my bags, taking a look at cole who was happily following us on his leash. Probably happy to be out of the car after six hours. 

"Oh, he has been talking about it ever since he heard that you would be coming for the meeting, he wanted to come greet you, but he is talking with Roman and Malcolm," she told Kingsley as she lead us up the stairs after telling us that she would show us our room. 

"I'm excited to meet him... again," King said awkwardly looking up at me with embarrassment in her eyes. I couldn't help the smile that formed on my face, "Don't laugh, that was embarrassing" she growled at me before turning back to Jade who chuckled at King. "Do you remember him?" Jade asked looking at Cole who was now in King's arms, sniffing the air as we made our way up another flight of stairs. 

The house was simple, there weren't expensive paintings hanging on the walls of the hall that we passed. Being how small the pack was they didn't have a lot of money, but they were quickly expanding and that was part of the meeting that was going to take place. 

"Nope, I just found out I had a brother today actually so it doesn't seem real yet," She told Jade. 

We turned down a hall on the second floor, which seemed to be where the bedrooms were "Wow. When I first met Noah you were all he talked about, how much he missed you and wanted to keep you safe" Jade told us.
