xiii. how to write a "lit" summary

TIPS:

- don't have anywhere in your summary "read the rest to find out...". like just don't?? and don't end it with a question also. "will they get together?' or "will she defeat the bad guy?" that just sounds weird.

- look at other people summary for inspiration, but don't copy it! it's good to see what they use. like maybe theirs has their quote first, and you had no idea where to put yours. or maybe you have no idea what to include.

- don't explain the plot too much! you don't want to give away all the good stuff. then, there would be no point in reading the book.

- don't go explain your character a lot. there's no need to start telling their whole life story, and what they look like in just the intro.

- just write it. do your best, and don't stress over it. you can always go back and fix it later.
