coming up with a title for your story is hard, let's face it. there's a lot of pressure in coming up with the title because it's one of the first things people see. a boring average title will most likely not draw in readers opposed to a well crafted one.
but, don't worry, ya girl kay got's you covered.
i.) keep it short and sweet. i recommend no more than 3-4 words. you want your whole or at least most of it to be able to be seen. instead of having a long ass title like, 'i meet dan and phil at a convention and i feel in love with dan howell, omg!!' narrow it down to 'meeting my heroes' or something along the lines of that.
ii.) don't give everything away in the title. similar to summaries try not to spoil it right away; then there would be no point in the user to read the book (duh). 'i fell in love with my super hot vampire-next-door neighbor' gives away everything right off the bat (pun intended). try 'my supernatural next-door-neighbor' instead. it doesn't give that much away.
iii.) have the title relate to the story somehow. if your book is about death then have it related to that concept. try something like 'losing her' (if it's about a girl), 'eternal rest', or 'cold hands'. don't have it named 'happy days' or some shi.t lol.
that's it! i hoped i helped some of y'all out.
( side note/rant: I'VE BEEN USING ROMAN NUMERALS FOREVER BUT MY LAZY ASS CAN'T REMBER WHAT THE ROMAN NUMERAL FOR FOUR IS RIP )
