time skip - a year later

it's a new year and luckily i already get rid of my feeling for chaeyoung. she moved to australia because she got a scholarship and it's her hometown. she also broke up with junhoe since he was really mad at her for moving away without telling him. tch, clichè.

i saw jimin and quickly went towards him.

"yah, park jimin!" he turned around and see me with an annoyed look.

"shouldn't you call me hyung?!"

"you ready for the new year? i heard there'll be a lot of girls this time!" i squealed and smiling at the thought of new students.

"all you know are girls, girls, and girls. think about your future, please?" jimin rolled his eyes at me.

"as if you already think about it though." i stuck out my tongue at him then ran away.

"get lost, jungkook!" he chased me around like a child.

honestly, i really like him because he treated me like his own brother. not in a romantic way, but more in a brotherly way. i wish i could treat junghoon like this, but he was too cruel. or maybe it's just me.

it's the first day of school and it went smoothly without any important things happened. but i'm just hoping that a new girl student would show up.

i went to the canteen to meet my friends as usual. i sat next to yugyeom and we both played games on our own phone. we were too engrossed on it until i heard a female voice calling hoseok.

"ey, hoseok!" she lightly punched hoseok's shoulder, to his surprise.

"oh, hey seulgi. this is my friend jungkook, yugyeom, and you know him, right? he's jimin," he introduced us to her, and ask her to sit with us.

"eh? is it okay?" she hesitated at first, but then she agreed to sit with us.

"hi i'm seulgi. i'm in the same class with jimin," she introduced herself with her eyesmile, looks similar to jimin.

"i'm jungkook," i said, then elbowed yugyeom who seemed busy with his phone.

"uh, h-hello seulgi," yugyeom said.

then we talked comfortably, mostly about dancing which was something i didn't really understand.

soon the bell rang, indicating us to go back to our class. we parted ways as we were belonged to different classes.

i went by myself since i was the only one who were in the vocal class. i lazily walked there because i have no one around to talk beside my friends but sadly they belonged to different class as mine. i should've choose dance then, i thought.

several weeks later, we were casually sat together in the canteen. then seulgi showed up with a girl i never saw before.

"hey guys." seulgi greeted us who had our eyes on the girl beside her.

"umm hi. who is she?" hoseok asked, referring to the girl.

"oh, she's my new roommate." seulgi replied, gesturing the girl to introduce herself. she simply nodded and turned herself to us.

"hello, i'm eunha. i'm in vocal class." she said politely, while i staring at her deeply. seulgi noticed it and nudged my elbow to tease me. i tched annoyedly then went back to my phone.

that girl sat between seulgi and me. she practically stole glances at me, maybe because i always busy with my phone. then she poked me, made me startled.

"what?" i asked coldly. i didn't know what's got into me.

"i just wondering, if you don't like me or what. because you always had your eyes on your phone." she said casually, which earning giggles from the others.

"yah jungkook-ah, she wants to be friend with you." jimin butted in.

"oh, i'm jungkook." i said shortly.

"i'm eunha."
