it's been a year since eunha moved to busan. living n a small village with her grandmother, she attends a public school that located near her house. every weekend, she helps her grandmother in the field, either taking care of the plants or harvesting them.

she got many new friends from the school, also from the fields. she wasn't the only young people who work there. there's so many of them beside her. luckily she got along really well with the others, otherwise she wouldn't have a lot of friends like now.

after put her hair into a ponytail, she sprayed some perfume then headed out, ready to go to school. she bid goodbye to her grandmother who sitting watching the morning news.

"i'll come home late today, halmeoni, i have something to do after school," she said then walked out.

she was appointed as a vocal team's captain and next month, her team will take place in a singing competition held by vocal academy korea. many teams will be participate on the competition, not only from seoul but from around the korea. so that's a really big scale of competition.

she really works hard to practice, because it was her first time as a captain and she wants her team to be the winner.

she really likes her previous school because it was an art school, so she could expand her vocal skill. the coach was the professional one, a lot different from her current school.

"okay guys let's start now," eunha said and her teammates finally shut up. it was kinda hard to silent them because they were stone-headed.

after three hours straight of practicing, eunha finally decided to finish it. one by one, her teammates left the room, leaving eunha alone with her friend.

"eunha, i heard your old school will join the competition too!" chaeyeon said.

"h-huh? really??" eunha asked stutteringly, jungkook's image immediately came to her mind.

that means she had a chance to meet him again, but she wasn't ready yet.

'what if he already moved on?' she thought.

she shook her head to get him off her mind, as she received a confused stare from chaeyeon.

"yah you okay?" she asked, caringly patting eunha's back. eunha just nodded and she suggested to go home quick.

as soon as she arrived, she went to her room and took out a pink box under the bed. it was her last gift from jungkook before their break up last year. he gave her a bunny doll, along with a message.

'to jung eunha, the girl i love the most.

i know it must be hard for you too, not just me. i won't ever forget about our sweet times, even though it didn't last that long, but i still remembered it all too well.

i know your father is a strict person so i understand your situation really well. you won't disappoint him right? i'm more than understand about it.

i appreciate it when you told me about this problem, otherwise i'll get mad when i heard it from the others. you're a brave girl, eunha. you're tough yet nice and gentle. that's why i love you.

i hope you won't ever forget me, baby. you're the one who can change me to a better person, leaving my bad habit of playing with girl hearts. you're the first that loves me with all your hearts.

but god's plan didn't let us to be together forever, we must separate ways because of some reason. i believe, one day we will meet again.

see you soon, jeon eunha ;p ♡♡

as the text came to an end, tears started fall from her cheeks. she still read it almost every night, and always cried whenever she saw that heart sign. she regretted it. but it's not like she had another choice after all. she relieved that he understood her situation, but that doesn't guarantee him to love her until now. he might have another girlfriend right now?? she never know since she was afraid to see the truth.

"eunha? are you okay there?" her grandma's voice suddenly snapping her back to reality. she quickly wiped her brimmed tears then walked lifelessly towards the door. she opened it slowly, tried her best to conceal her sadness. she smiled upon the pain she felt, just to make her grandmother happy.

"i'm okay halmeoni, why? do you need any help?" she asked calmly, as if she felt nothing.

"there's someone looking for you, he's at the livingroom," grandma said then went back to her room.

'who could it be?' she thought.

after made sure her face didn't look swollen, she made her way out to the livingroom. her face muscle relaxed at the view of a tall figure looking at her childhood photos.

"oh? what brings you here?"

"hey, i just walk around and happened to stop by when i saw your grandma watering the plants at the garden," he said casually as he sat down, made himself comfortable as if he was at his own house.

"wait, i'm going to grab some snacks and drink. what do you want?"

"as usual."

she got the signal and immediately went to the kitchen. the male took out his phone and saw a notification from his favorite rapper's youtube channel.

he quickly tapped it and ready to watch the video when suddenly eunha came with a tray full of foods.

"put that thing away, just go home if you come here to playing with your phone," eunha glared at him and he quickly slid his phone back to his pocket.

they conversed as usual, talking about this and that. since they weren't attending the same school, so there's a lot of thing they could share with each other.

"what about the girl you always told me about? what's her name again, sejeong??" eunha asked curiously, waiting for his answer, hoping it was a good one.

but instead of answering her, he just smiled without saying anything. but the smile answered everything. that means, she accepted him as her boyfriend.

"oh god really? omg! congrats bro!" eunha bumped her fist against his while laughing excitedly, momentarily forgot about jungkook.

"yeah thanks bunny. anyway what about you?" he asked, and suddenly her mood dropped.

"don't mention about it, mingyu."
