eunha crossed her arms in front of her chest as she glared and demanding an explanation from mingyu. he finally told the truth that he and hoseok had been planning for the picnic several days ago. their intention was to make eunha and jungkook getting back together, because hoseok was really sad for witnessing jungkook being so lifeless after the break up.

technically, they weren't breaking up since there's no words such "let's break up" along the way. it happened when eunha left jungkook, and she declared that she wasn't jungkook's girlfriend anymore.

while on the other parties, jungkook thought different. he just felt betrayed, but never stop loving her even though he knew she's not.

"i'm sorry eunha, i just want to-"

she heaved a sigh, cutting mingyu's explanation. she was really pissed. her expectation to enjoy a relaxing picnic was now turned into some unexpected event, such as meeting her ex-boyfriend.

"i need to go now."

with that, she quickly gathered her belongings and walk away. jungkook was stood still, unable to move, and chasing her.

"it's all ruined," hoseok murmured, followed by a deep sigh. he ran his hand through his platinum rose gold-gray hair frustatedly. he had been contacting mingyu since then but on the execution day, all of it ruined only in a second.

jimin shifted uncomfortably on his position and finally told the truth. "this is my fault, if only i didn't shouted kookie's name back then," he lowered his head, facing the sandy ground. "but jungkook, have you ask her to go to your parents' house?"

jungkook had his eyes widened, totally forgot about his plan. he ran as fast as he could before eunha gone, and luckily she was still waiting for the bus at the bus stop.

he walked sneakily towards there, not wanting to attracts people's attention. he poked her shoulder, then she turned around slowly. "hey."

"oh- hey jungkook.." a subtle hint of sadness could be notice by jungkook who was staring at her deeply. they exchange stares until jungkook suddenly pulled eunha into his tight embrace.

she just stood there froze, didn't know how to respond. she wanted to hug him back, but she just can't. she felt her whole body trembles under jungkook's strong arms that wrapped around her shoulder perfectly. as if she was made for him.

"i miss you," jungkook said as he rested his head on the crook of her neck, inhaling the familiar scent that he missed so much.

after fighting the urge to hug him back, she finally gave up. she had her arms wrapped around his fit body, not to mention that she couldn't reach his whole body because either eunha was too small for him or it's just him that had a good build.

"i miss you too," eunha mumbled against his chest, wetting his shirt which he didn't mind. the two shared a meaningful hug as the passerby looking at them weirdly.

"yah kim mingyu! have you seen eunha?" eunha's grandma asked, half-yelled to mingyu who happened to walk past by her house.

"oh hello halmeoni, no i'm not. i guess she's with her friend, i'm going now halmeoni," he answered as he continued to walk to his home.

eunha's grandma grew worried since she hadn't come back home until this hour. it's almost midnight, and she'd never been out this late. grandma thought about the worst scenario which she getting kidnapped by some drunken people and they try to rape her, then suddenly a knock on the door snapping her back to reality.

as she opened the door, her gloomy face turned into a very bright one, as a couple of tears ran down her cheeks due to the scary thoughts few moments ago.

"finally you come! where have you been, huh?!" grandma yelled while hug her.

"i'm with my friend halmeoni, he's from seoul," eunha stepped aside to let grandma see jungkook behind her.

bunny teeth showed on its own as jungkook smiled brightly towards her grandma. he bowed politely then introduce himself followed by an apology towards her grandma.

"good evening, halmeoni. my name is jeon jungkook and i'm eunha's friend from her previous school. i'm deeply sorry for keeping her too long, because it's been a long time since i saw her. i hope you understand, halmeoni."

to his surprise, her grandma was welcoming her whole-heartedly. she was touched by the way jungkook apologised to her. and she assumed, he has a good manner.

"it's okay, as long as she's fine, i won't be mad at you. anyway, come inside first," she offered, but jungkook politely declined.

"um, maybe next time? i guess it's already too late for me to have a visit... i promise i'll come here again!" he said, felt bad for rejecting her kind offer. but that what he should do, in order to show her grandma that he is a nice guy. "i'll be going now, halmeoni. bye eunha!"

"okay, see you next time young man!" eunha and her grandma waited for jungkook to get inside the car. once he's drove away, they went inside the house and grandma started to interrogating her about jungkook, in a good way.

"i'm sorry halmeoni for going back late..." eunha stated, fiddling with her fingers nervously.

grandma just smiled and patted her back, "i'm not mad, eunha. but don't do that again, yes?"

eunha nodded then hug her grandma before she stormed away towards her room. once she get in, she squealed like a little girl got candies. she didn't believe it, jungkook was back. moreover, he hadn't change a bit, which relieved her.

just then, her phone lit up, showed a message from someone.
