STARING AT THE PEOPLE in front of me, they look so happy... and free.
Just like a normal family. Having a normal life not thinking about the kind of world they have. Not minding what could happen tomorrow. By just looking at them, seeking them having fun, I felt satisfied... and proud. For all the things we've been through, it just feels surreal.
Is this true? totoo ba ang lahat ng 'to? wala na ba talagang problema?or am I just dreaming?
Because if this is just a dream then don't wake me up.
"No, it's all real."
Agad akong napatingin sa taong biglang sumulpot sa tabi ko. I can't help but to roll my eyes.
"What? so now you can read minds."
"No. It's just... kanina pa kita pinag-mamasdan and I can tell by just looking at your eyes. The're happy." she said.
Napakunot naman ang noo ko sa sinabi niya. "what are you sayin'?"
"I'm sayin' that I know you well at kahit manatili pang malamig 'yang mukha mo, alam kong masaya ka sa nakikita mo ngayon. Masaya kang nakikita mo silang masaya." she explained at tumingin sa kanila.
Napapoker-face na lang ako sa sinabi niya. that manatiling malamig . -_-
Muli kong tinignan sila. Hindi ko maiwasang mapangiti. Nakikipag-laro sila sa mga bata na akala mo ay kaidad lang nila. Buti hindi sila nauubusan ng energy kahahabol sa mga bata. Is this the use of training for so many years? ang hindi agad mapagod kakahabol sa mga bata? not bad.
"See? your smiling." she teased. Agad bumalik sa dating ekspresyon ang mukha ko.
I cleared my throat, "It's not smile... it's smirk."
Bigla siyang tumawa kaya muntik ko na siyang mabatukan buti nalang napigilan ko.
"You can't fool me! I'm your best friend after all." she proudly said.
And then silence came between us.
Wow, what is this? what is this feel?
I look at her, she's looking at me with a teary eyed.
"I miss that." I suddenly say.
"mwo?" she asked and look away. Patay malisya ang bruha.
I chuckled, "I know you know.... your my best friend after all."
THEY PLANNED THAT we go for a barbecue party for dinner.
I can't say no dahil lahat sila ay nag-agree sa plano ng mga girls exept me. It would be 1 versus 100, doble-doble ang bilang nila pag-dating sa pagkain. No one could stop them even the kids wants it. Then go for it.
"My, here." agad akong napatingin kay Damon at nakita kong may hawak siyang grilled meat with lettuce wraps in it. "say ahh~"
Nilapit niya ang kamay niya sa'kin. Pati siya nakanga-nga. omo! gwiyeowo >.< wala akong nagawa kundi ngumanga rin at sinubuan niya ko.
"mmm~" he. I can't.
"oh, gwiyeowo~" Liza said.
napatingin ako sa kanya, I nodded, "maj-a!" I said at tumingin sa anak kong busy kumain. so cute!!
"okay! More barbeque!!" sigaw ni Princess at inilapag ang plate sa mesa.
Pabalik na siya ng biglang....
"kyahhh~"
silence.....
"whew~ that was close," Damon said. He notice that we were still frozen, "why?"
"you..."
"o my god."
"wow."
"Did I just..."
"HE HAS POWERS!" Max shouted.

Cute.
I just saw na sinubuan ni Damon si Scarlett. Ang cute nilang tignan.
Kanina lang blanko ang mga tingin niya pero ng tawagin siya ni Damon agad itong lumambot. Ngumiti pa siya na parang nang-gigigil. Well, sa tingin ko hindi mo talaga mapipigilan dahil ang cute niya.
Hindi ko nga maisip kung kanino niya namana ang ka-kyutan at pagiging friendly. Siguro sa aming tatlo, Ako, si Scarlett and Hell, si Damon ang pinaka-naiiba. His so energetic not like the three of us. He's approachable not like his twin na namana ang coldness ng daddy niya at pag-katahimik, nakakatakot at pagka-misteryoso ng mommy niya. Palangiti rin siya at palatawa which is... really not the three of us. HE'S ACTIVE.
And Hell, she's like her mother. The opposite of her twin brother but as I said, she's like her mother. Strong and scary outside but still soft inside and protective specially to people that is close to her.
"okay! More barbeque!!" sigaw ni Princess na umagaw ng atensyon ko.
Nilapag niya ang plate na may mga bagong grilled meat and hotdog sa table kaharap ko. Pabalik na sana siya ng bigla itong nadulas.
"kyahhh~"
Steven was about to catch her na nasa tabi ko lang but I don't think that he will make it. And then suddenly....
lahat kami ay nagulat sa nangyari.
silence.....
"whew~ that was close," Damon said.
Agad akong napalingon sa pwesto niya. What was that? He stand there with a relief expression.
"why?" he asked.
"you..."
"o my god."
"wow."
"Did I just..."
"HE HAS POWERS!" Max shouted.
