Living with Dark wasn't too bad. He was surprisingly sweet and respectful after our visit with Satan. I still don't know what was said between the two after I left the room, but then again I didn't quite care.

I stepped out of the shower, my feet hitting the cold tile floor. The bathroom was extremely foggy due to the previously running hot water. I threw my towel into the hamper, finally getting changed into my high waisted shorts and one of Dark's t-shirts he would wear when we went out in public. I'm sure it's going to bother him when he sees that I'm wearing his shirt, but I don't mind. After all, his father is just one bloody finger away.

I slowly slid my hand across the mirror to clear away the steam. A girl can't do her makeup without a mirror, you know? Well, I can't anyways. I grabbed my makeup bag, pulling out my favorite concealer and foundation. 'Time to make myself look halfway decent.'

I glanced into the mirror, dabbing concealer into my dark circles. The house was quiet, meaning Dark was probably out taking care of "business" as he would always say. I hummed as I moved on to doing my foundation, glad that I would soon look like a human being instead of a zombie.

Green eyes appeared in my mirror, staring at me intensely. My heart beat increased, thumping rapidly against my rib cage. High pitched laugher resonated in the room. It made my head feel like it was going to explode.

"Very funny, Dark." I laughed nervously. I hoped my demon was playing a trick on me, but I was almost certain this wasn't a prank. I turned to face the direction the eyes came from, but nobody was there.

"Look behind you, foolish girl." This voice was different. It was one I had never heard before. Whoever it was had a higher pitched voice. One that matched the laugh I just heard perfectly.

My head whipped around, my (eye color) eyes widening in both fear and shock. A tall, green haired, man loomed over me. He had a sharp knife in his hand, which he traced over my collar bone that had been marked by Dark. I screamed as blood poured down my chest at an alarming rate. The strange man's hand clamped over my mouth almost instantly.

"Dark thinks he can have you all to himself. That I've just disappeared. That I can just be tossed away and forgotten about like a broken toy. But I can't be tossed away! I can't be gotten rid of. I'm always here. I'm always watching. Always watching you and him. And quite frankly I'm disgusted." His eyes turned black just like Dark's eyes do when I'm upset.

"Why are you so afraid of me? I won't hurt you. Not like how Dark can. He's the dangerous one! Not me! I'm just lonely. I'm just tired of being left behind and tossed around like a rag doll." His body was pressed against mine. I couldn't seem to look away from him black eyes. When Dark's eyes turned black they seem so frightening, but this man, his eyes just seem empty. Lacking any sort of emotion.

"But you. You can't get rid of me!" That high pitched laugh resonated across the room again, making me flinch. Within the blink of an eye, the man was gone, leaving me standing in the bathroom completely dumbfounded.
