So there's this girl that's an amazing artist, and when I look at her art and then look at mine I wonder "can I ever get this good?? I'm just starting to learn how to do digital art (or any art at all) and everything I have to learn is just so overwhelming. But it just comes so easy to her! I know she's been doing it her whole life but will I ever even have the time to put that much effort into improving my art? I'm already 16 years old, I'm not getting any younger!!"
But I just realized
I've been writing my whole life the way she's been drawing her whole life. So while I'm always trying to improve, it's never felt overwhelming or scary.
So then I wondered
Is this how new writers feel?
