I've been tagged by BasilGreywordlass, and _virago (and probably others) to do this awesome tag! I appreciate that for once a tag is actually relevant to anything XD

Basically, I get to talk about two of my favorite things: myself and my writing. Yay!! Let's do this!

Describe yourself as you would a character in a fanfic.

There is nothing up above but clear blue sky.

Well, clear blue sky littered with a few fluffy clouds. And the tops of the snow-capped mountains that stretched up towards the sun. And the actual sun. And that black dot that's get bigger and bigger and —

"whoooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Wings hurtles down through space towards the ground. Suddenly, her wings whip out, huge grey feathers fanning out and catching her, forcing her to come to an abrupt halt just a few feet above instant doom. Her feet swing forward and daintily touch the ground for a graceful moment — and then the rest of her weight lands, and she trips over herself and falls face-first onto the grass.

"Aw yea!" comes a muffled voice beneath her wild blonde hair. She sticks up a single thumb and just lays there for a moment.

Then her head shoots up, and a few grey feathers drift off her head. "I'm gonna do that again!"

Do you have a ritual before/during/after you write?

Not really a ritual, but I have to be on my laptop, Spook, in Microsoft Word with the page at 100% size and the font set to Calibri 11, to write my fictional stories. Stuff like this I usually type directly into Wattpad, but I'd never ever ever trust Wattpad with my precious stories. Never.

Other than that I can basically write anywhere at any time in any position. In class, in transportation, lying on my living room floor - it all just depends on how I'm feeling.

The music I listen to when I write varies. Sometimes it's nothing, other times it's Mikky Ekko or Son Lux or Imogen Heap or Wilsen or The Bright Light Social Hour. Mikky Ekko is my main Gravity Rises music artist, which is weird cuz his songs really have nothing to do with it except the general sound/mood. Ah well.

Which fanfic was your favorite to write?

Hmm. . . I mean, Gravity Rises in general, but specifically, I really enjoyed writing Pacifica Falls and the climax chapter of Spectre Theatre. The former because it was dramatic and making the "code" in the last chapter was awesome, and the latter because I've been sitting on that Babel speech for so long and I was so happy to finally share it.

The ancients once tried to build a tower to heaven. . .

Authors you admire?

(I'm gonna go broader and list writers, not necessarily authors who just write books.)

Orson Scott Card, for his amazing prose and ability to captivate you no matter what he's talking about. Even his TED Talk where he just read off his note cards is utterly captivating.

Alex Hirsch, because Dipper is the best self-insert ever and it's proof that self-inserts aren't inherently bad. (Plus many other reasons.)

Brandon Sanderson, for his world-building.

Brandon Mull, for being a cinnamon roll who loves his fans (aside from still being a great writer).

Bill Watterson, for everything.
