kayfost: I shouldn't even have to say this, but some people just don't understand. Being gay is NOT a choice. Never has been, never will be. It's something we are when we're born, it's a part of us. You don't think I've tried to change? I have. I've tried and tried to be anything but gay because I was so scared to be anything but straight. But I'm not anymore. There's things we can't change, and this is one of them. Be proud of who you are. Embrace it. If anyone tries to tell you it's wrong, ignore them. They can't hold you back. Religion can't, either. If that's why you're scared, know your god(s) love(s) you. Love is not a choice.
