kayfost: once upon a time, I was a shy sixteen year old, and I went in for an audition that at the time, I didn't know would change my life. they brought in this kid who was around my age, had him run lines with me, and seemed thrilled about our 'chemistry.' two weeks later, I was on the set of the walking dead, ready to embark on the journey of my life. and the boy, he walked up to me that first day, and he said, "I told them to choose you. you're a great actress."
that kid was you, chandler. ever since that day, we've been inseparable. even now, we're across the table from each other, and you just showed me some meme that made you laugh for twenty minutes while lauren stared at you weirdly. and I say all that to say this:
happy birthday, chan. you're eighteen now. you're gonna have a lot of responsibilities that you won't understand, but that's okay- I'll be right here with you to work them out. you are the kindest, most caring soul i've ever known, and i'm so glad that you're my best friend. i love you, forever. i love how memeable you are and how our eleven pm phone calls turn into three am phone calls, how our one hour skype calls become two day skype calls. you are truly someone I could never live without, and i can't wait to see where you go in life. thank you for being my friend, thank you for letting me into your family. i love you, chandler. have the year of your life.
