I've given myself a few days to distance myself from this story so that I can write this as clearly as possible, but I don't think it helped at all.

when I started writing blue, I didn't expect it to get much attention. it was just a fun book that I wanted to write because I'd noticed the lack of rowan fanfics out there, and what better way to improve it than to write one about her? so, with the encouragement of someone I no longer know, I published blue. it didn't take long for it to take off, and I have you guys to thank for that. the reactions I've gotten over rowlani have made my heart melt. you guys have laughed and cried with me and them every step of the way, and I couldn't be more grateful.

originally, this was going to be a sad story, an unhappy ending, especially when my own love life took a negative turn, but I got too attached. rowan and kaylani made me too happy, made y'all happy. so I decided, yeah, make it a happy ending. make them sad, make them break, but make it happy. and if it weren't for your support, I could have never done that. thank you for having an interest in my book, in the story I crafted so carefully of these two.

rowlani will still live on in two of my spin-off books, and probably in a few bonus chapters if y'all would like. and, if you're interested, the gmw version of this, with kaylani's character, could be in the works.
