My date with Isaac went very well. He picked me up a while after I had that little conversation with my mom. He then took me to the beach. And it wasn't a "public beach", meaning no one was there except us.
When we came down from his Range Rover, he was carrying a picnic basket, so then I knew we were having a picnic at the beach. How freaking romantic... this was just like those cliche novels...
And so Isaac brought spaghetti, coke (not the drug, the soda, in case you're wondering) and the best out of everything he brought: cheesecake. I absolutely adore cheesecake. Yes, more than I love chocolate cake. I wonder how Isaac knew, but when I asked, he was being mysterious once more. But I didn't care.
The spaghetti was delicious, the coke was great, and the cheesecake was heaven! Oh, and the stars were shining brightly in the night sky and the sound of the waves crashing on the soft sand was relaxing! And all that sappy stuff... blah blah blah.

The next day was Saturday, and Carmen called me early in the morning to ask me to go shopping with her.
I wanted to make up some excuse-considering I was feeling very lazy-about how mom wouldn't let me go, but unfortunately, Carmen knows me too well, which means she knows my mom well too. And my mom always says yes for me to go out with Carmen, because for some reason, my mom loves her.
So then I decided to go anyway, since I remembered I actually needed some new clothes. I got ready and went downstairs to see that my mom wasn't there watching TV or cooking breakfast. But then I noticed that a note was stuck on the fridge. It read, Crystal, I needed to go do some grocery shopping. Your breakfast is on the dining table. Hope you have a good day! -Mom
Okay... this was pretty odd. My mother never did the grocery shopping. She always leaves that to our housekeeper, Tammy. I decided to let it go and eat my breakfast of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries and Greek yoghurt. Then I headed out the door and drove to the mall, where Carmen and I decided to meet.

"Carmen..." I whined. "I can't do this anymore!" After two hours of shopping, I couldn't do it anymore. Carmen made us run around, and there was no rest. I shouldn't known better not to come. Carmen always took shopping pretty seriously... it was always intense, even though Carmen finds shopping relaxing. I really wonder how.
"Oh, stop being a baby, Crystal! But I do really need to pee... let's go to the toilet!" Carmen said, then grabbed my hand and dragged me to the bathrooms.
As Carmen entered the female toilets, I said, "I'll wait here!" I don't think Carmen even heard me, considering she didn't reply, but oh well.
So I waited outside, casually glancing to the large shopping bags I was holding. Suddenly, I heard a voice. And not just any voice. I recognized this voice. It was Isaac's.
"I love you..." Isaac's voice said. Jesus Christ... was he cheating on me?
Then I could hear kissing sounds (ew), but what I heard next was the most surprising of all: Maddox's voice. Maddox was saying, "If you love me so much, why don't you dump that bitch? I heard about your date with her last night. Rumours spread fast in Glassgate, you know..."
OH MY GOD.
Isaac was cheating on me with s guy? But I couldn't be sure. That was just what I was hearing. So I tip-toed where I thought the voices was coming from and I was right: there was Isaac, passionately kissing my son-of-a-bitch "soul mate".
