  Our feet and legs, often neglected in the study of , transmit a lot of valuable information about what we are sensing, thinking, and feeling. 

1. A  seated person directs their knee or knees towards the point of interest or attentiveness.

2. In sitting positions, open uncrossed leg positions generally indicate an open attitude, contrasting with with crossed legs, which normally indicate a closed attitude or a degree of caution or uncertainty.

3. When sitting with parallel legs together(mainly in females) it indicates a sense of properness.

4. Crossed legs tend to indicate a degree of caution or disinterest, which can be due to various reasons, ranging from feeling threatened, to mildly insecure.

5. The 'American' or 'figure-4' leg cross is a far more confident posture which indicates stubbornness.

6. Siting with open legs(mainly in males) shows arrogance, combative or sexual posturing.

7. When a person is siting angle lock it usually suggests defensiveness.

8. Standing splayed legs indicates aggression or readiness for an action.

9. When a person is siting with legs interwined (mainly in females) it shows insecurity.

10. Legs crossed, standing (scissor stance) usually indicates insecurity or submission or engagement.

11. Like knees, feet direction tend to point towards the focus of interest - or away from something or someone if it is not of interest.

12. Shoe play(female) indicates relaxation or flirting.
