Chapter 22

"I honestly didn't know what to expect but im just glad that we're soulmates." The young singer said softly as he cuddled into the older. It honestly felt like a dream. Being on such an amazing journey with youngjae, the group becoming famous all over the world and being able to interact with the fans as freely as they do. This was the idol life jaebum had dreamed about. And luckily he had his soulmate by his side.
The worst seemed to be behind them. The whole drama and youngjae's life almost being lost was now a year or two behind them. Everyone was happy. Including jinyoung. The girl he had met that day so many years ago (so it seems) turned out to not actually be his soulmate but they still ended up dating anyway. What was perplexing the whole group was why Jinyoung had felt that stinging sensation on his arm in the first place. They all knew that his soulmate must've been near them so they wondered if going back to that exact spot would help but, being as popular as they were, doing that was a lot harder than saying it. "Guys just leave it alone. Whether i find my soulmate or not doesn't matter to me. I'm happy with this girl and she's happy with me. It's all good." But that answer didn't seem to sit well with the members. Especially with member in particular.

"hyung. You can tell me what's wrong you know that right?" youngjae spoke softly. Jinyoung nodded giving the other a soft, reassuring smile. "Don't worry youngjae-ah. It's okay. I'm fine." He kissed the younger softly on the forehead, "Now go fetch mark for me. I need to talk to him about something." Youngjae groaned and got off of the older's bed. "So you'll tell him but not me? Okay Jinyoung. OkA  y." Jinyoung rolled his eyes and feigned annoyance. "Yah. Don't forget that i can still beat your ass if needed to. Now go get mark-hyung." Youngjae giggled and scurried out of the room, fetching mark. After a little bit mark came in, fresh from the dance room it seemed. "what's up Jinyoung-ah. Is something wrong?" Jinyoung shook his head a little and just chuckled to himself before slowly frowning. "I think i know who my soulmate is..." Mark just stared at Jinyoung confused. "What about soomin? Your girlfriend?" Jinyoung shook his head. "We broke up about four months ago. She couldn't handle all of the secretive relationship stuff and then she found her soulmate who happened to be an olympic athlete. Imagine that-" Mark blinked, astonished at the information. "yeah... Imagine That-" he shook his head and before he said anything more he shut the door and looked down at the younger who was sitting on the bed. "So if she isn't your soulmate... Then who is it?" Jinyoung mumbled something and stayed quiet but Mark wasn't having it. "Louder." "You-....." "Actual words or sentences please Jinyoung."

"Youngjae is my soulmate."

"But how is that even possible he's soulmates with jaebum..." Jinyoung just shook his head. "I dont know. Whenever he's around i can feel my tattoo burn and i know he feels it too. I can see it in the little twinge he has when he feels pain. The way his right eye kind of flinches." Mark looked even more surprised if that was even possible. "How do you memorize these things Jinyoung?" He just scoffed and looked up at Mark. "It's my job. Im not savage all the time but the weird thing is that I don't have .... DEEP feelings for the kid. Just feels more like a soft little crush. I'm sure it'll be over soon but let's hope he doesn't catch on any time soon. I don't think he would be able to handle the thought of two soulmates. I don't think jaebum would keep me alive if he ever found out either," All he could do was sigh.

"Promise me that you wont say a word to anyone."
"promise me mark"

Mark slowly nods and holds out his pinky, linking it with jinyoung's and pressing their thumbs together.

"promise"
