Never in my life did I figure out what in general did I do to deserve such destiny. Never. Sure, I have my flaws. We all do. I have my crazy moments.
But, still, this kind of punishment from God seemed too harrish.
Justin and I were high school sweethearts. That kind of couple that everybody expected to marry soon after gratuation and start the family on their own. It was like some kind of cliche movie - he was the jock, me the cheerleader.
It was perfect.
Until that day....
{Flashback}
It was Friday afternoon and I was just ending with another exosting cheer practice. My legs hurt, along with every muscle exsisting in my body and I barely could keep my eyes wide opened anymore so I was beyond grateful when the coach said the practice was over.
Quickly, I rushed to the changing rooms along with the rest of the squad, hurrying to change so I could go already. "Sel, we're going to that cafe now. Wanna come?" Brenda, one of the lead cheerleaders beside me and one of the sweetest as well asked me.
I shaked my head no hesitation, yawning lightly as I bitterly responsed: "Nah! Sorry, Bren, but I can't. Too tired..."
She lightly smiled, nodding before turning around to her best friend, Casey. I quickly swung the silver sports bag over my shoulder, shutting the locker doors closed before quickly heading towards the exit.
Just few second after, I was rapidly stepping through the hallways, rushing to my loving home and bed, that seemed as heaven right than.
Suddenly, I looked ahead of me, just to see the view that caused me to freeze on the spot.
Justin, my Justin, knocked some bimbo up the locker, saftely gripping her erists above her head as he roughly pressed his lips on hers. The blond stranger responsed on the kiss without thin king, wrapping her leg around him as he moved one palm to the leg, tracking it with his hand.
I stared at the horrifying view like frozen and, than, suddenly, one weird sound that was something between cry and scream escaped my throat, causing Justin to look up and see me.
"Selena!" he breathed out, in shock.
