A/n another poem because my other one was one of my most popular chapters. If this one is well received I may do another but this work is going to still be predominantly short stories.

She stood above me DVD in hand
Her fists like greasy hunks of ham,
She touched and smeared across my phone
I wished at once she would leave me alone.

And so I yelled and grabbed her hair
While I was thrown at a nearby chair,
I grabbed her mouth to stop her cries
As mums reaction would be no surprise.

With the younger one floored the older brother came in
Reviewing the carnage and smiling within,
He grabbed my arm and tried to punch
Protecting the sibling who makes him lunch.

I sighed and yelled and spat in disdain
As slowly he dragged me out of the way,
And then as little sister ran to go tell
We pleaded and begged to avoid mums hell.

And so now with ice cream in tow
We tended our wounds feeling very low,
So with ice and plasters and many nice things
We looked to each other with the understanding of siblings.
