No matter what, Courtney and Lasercorn gravitated towards each other. During shoots, meals, or just down time, they found each other.
Three days into the shoot, Courtney laid on the couch, propping her legs on Lasercorn's lap. He barely acknowledged this change, simply resting his arms on her and continued typing on his phone.
"Those two are driving me crazy!" Matt Raub harshly whispered.
"Let it take its time," Flitz reasoned, "If its meant to happen it will happen."
"Shut up, Flitz."
"I've never seen Lasercorn happier," Sohinki admired," And, you know, after what happened, I never thought he could be happy again."
"Courtney is a ray of sunshine," Joven commented, "And he is basking in her glow."
Mari grimaced,"Ew. And I do think they need a push in the right direction. They're probably both scared."
Matt Raub smiled"I was hoping someone would say that so I'll be justified in what I'm going to do."
"Is no one going to mention that Lasercorn is ten years older than Courtney? And that she's 21?" Joven glanced at his friends,"No one."
"We're not suggesting marriage, and who cares?"Sohinki replied, "I figured you, all of people, wouldn't."
"...You're right. Good for him. Get'em while they're young."
Mari smacked his shoulder.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"You know what!" The small group left the room to prepare for the next shoot, leaving the couple in question alone.

Lasercorn tried to look distracted, but he really just wanted to look at Courtney. She was so pretty and her smiled made him forget all the bad things about life, like missing Tyler.
She glanced at him from her phone,"You ok?"
"Mhmm."
"David, you know you can talk to me."
With the others setting up the shoot, the two were alone.
"I miss Tyler."
"Me too."
Lasercorn smiled, but it faded. He looked down and played with the ties on her shoes,"Um, Courtney, I don't want you to feel bad for me."
"What?"
"You're 21!" He exclaimed, quickly sitting forward, forcing her legs to swing down.
"So what?" She shoved herself forward,"What's this about?"
"I just," he sighed,"You spend all you're time with me and Tyler. And I thank you for it but don't waste your life pitying us when there's so much more-"
"That's what you think? That I pity you?"
"I-"
"I care about you both! And, yeah , maybe I did pity you at first but now I love you!"
Courtney's whole body began to shake.
She finally said it.
Lasercorn frantically searched her face,"B-but you're so young and-"
"Whatever," Courtney scoffed, standing to her feet,"So my age is prohibiting our family?"
"Please just-"
"Goodbye, David."
She left.

Lasercorn slammed his fist into the couch.
How could this be happening to him again?
Why did he push her away?
A concerned Mari entered the room," Are you ok? I just saw Courtney-"
"I'm fine," he stood and shoved past her.
"Lasercorn, what happened?"
"I just... I don't want Courtney to waste her life-"
"Waste? Lasercorn, do you really think that little of yourself? A perfect girl for you and an amazing mom for Tyler has dropped into your lap. Yeah she's young, but she's also an adult. Courtney has a good head on her shoulders. She knows what she's doing."
"I-I told her that I was worried she just pitied Tyler and I."
"Ok. And?"
"She's upset."
"Rightfully so," Mari added," You basically questioned her ability to make decisions."
Lasercorn sighed,"I...I messed up Mari."
"Then apologize." She patted his shoulder,"Always talk this kind of stuff out. That's what Peter and I do, and we've been together for 7 years." She held out her hand, keeping Lasercorn from charging off to find Courtney,"Give her time, ok? We have all week, no need to rush."
Lasercorn hated that idea.
Now was the time to rush!
But he knew Mari was right.

Due to the crazy schedule, they never got to speak that day. Courtney smiled and was her normal self, but hide behind Flitz instead of finding Lasercorn.
After finishing Pain Pong, Courtney moved to the door before Lasercorn could get to her.
"Hey!" He rushed past Olivia and Sohinki to reach her.
"What do you want?" She asked annoyedly. She placed a hand on her hip as they stood in the door way.
"I'm sorry!" He blurted," You're an adult. I need to respect your decisions. If this is how you want to spend your life, then I am in no position to tell you other wise."
"I'm sorry I got so upset. I see where you're coming from."
"Yo! Lovebirds!" Matt Raub yelled from the crowd of observers," Look up."
Someone had hung mistletoe from the ceiling.
"That's a little out of season!" Sohinki yelled back , "Maybe you should of-"
"Shut up, Sohin," Courtney breathed, closing the space between her and Lasercorn. She placed her hands on his shoulders and kissed him.
He immediately responded, grabbing her waist and pulling her body against his.
Olivia screamed out in joy, followed by the rest of smosh yelling out in victory.
Courtney drew back and smiled.
Lasercorn smiled back.
"I love you, too." He whispered, still holding her close.
"I know," was all she could get out before he enveloped her into another kiss.
Lasercorn never asked for Sabrina to leave, or for Courtney to move in with his family.
Sometimes life sucks for a good reason.
Now, Lasercorn would never ask for anything different.
